Virgin Atlantic B747-400 New Colours

File Description:
New fictional livery for the PMDG 747-400 in Virgin Atlantic's new colours. Virgin Atlantic has not applied it's new cleaner livery to any of it's 747's yet but as they have started to do so on their A340's, I'm sure it won't be long. I chose a genuine Virgin aircraft to repaint, registered G-VHOT and named 'Tubular Belle' as in real life. She is one of Virgin's older 747's and so could well be one of the first to be repainted in real life.

Royal Air Force Transport Command Douglas C-47 (Maam-Sim)

File Description:
The G-AMPY is the second DC-3 which is operated by Air Atlantique. She is mainly used for scenic flights. Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in Royal Air Force Transport Command livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM). Please see readme for the url for the base package. Prop textures by Bob Rivera. Requires previous installation of OY-BPB C-47 package (BPB_FS9.ZIP). Installation instructions are included.

British Airways 'Landor' Boeing 747-400

File Description:
Boeing 747-400 in British Airways' old Landor colours (G-BNLK - City of Bristol) for the fantastic Overland model. This aircraft has sentimental value to me as it not only shares a name with my current home town but it's the first aircraft I ever flew on unaccompanied many years ago! These are textures only; the payware models can be found at www.overland.co.jp. The textures are in high quality (32 bit) format but performance is nevertheless strong when using this frame-efficient model. Will work for both FSX and FS9. Enjoy!

Monarch Airlines Level D Boeing 767-31KER

File Description:
Repaint of the Level D 767 in the new livery of UK based airline, Monarch Airlines. This aircraft, G-DIMB was recently acquired from MyTravel for Summer longhaul routes where the A330 is considered too large, and for the winter season on other routes when loads are too low to warrant the use of an A330. Included are two version, 32Bit and DXT3. 32Bit has the quality, DXT has the performance so use which ever suits your tastes / personal preferance. Please read the included readme file for more information.

TransBrasil Pink BAC One-Eleven 523

File Description:
Built for BMA it was later leased to Court Line until sale to TransBrasil. Taking up Brazilian markings in May 1974 this One-Eleven 523 was painted in a pink variation of TransBrasil livery. After returning to the UK in January 1978 it was leased to Cyprus Airways as G-AXLM, then to Arkia as 4X-BAS. It ended up with Philippine Air Lines as RP-C1194 and was broken up for spares at Manila by European Aviation in 1996 Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby.

Ex USAAF P-51D Mustang "Twilight Tear"

File Description:
Photoreal repaint for Warwick Carter's excellent freeware P-51D Mustang Version 2 available here with filename 'p51dver2.zip'. Be sure to have installed Warwick's Mustang Version 2 first in order to use these repaint files. Depicted here is P-51D "Twilight Tear", built in 1944, originally served with the USAAF as 44-63864/HL-W flown by Lt. Hubert Davis. Later transferred to the Royal Swedish AF as Fv26158, then to the Israeli Air Force as 38, retired to Israeli museum, then airworthy as 4X-AIM, SE-BKG, N42805 and currently G-CBNM.

P-51D 21st FG/531st FS 305 "Shrimp IV"

File Description:
P-51D 44-63781 was assigned to Captain Charles G. Betz, of the 531st FS/ 21st FG, based in Iwo Jima, may 1945. Capt. Betz flew combat with the 72nd FS during the Central Pacific campaign, damaging one 'Zeke' with his P-39. He transferred to the 531st in spring 1944 and became operations officer in march 1945. He flew several VLR missions with the 531st before receiving orders sending him home on 1 june 1945. Repaint of the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by John Terrell.
