This FSX repaint represents the PMDG 747-400F Queen of the Skies freighter variant based on an aircraft that belonged to Air Atlanta Icelandic back in 2007, but then subsequently moved to Atlas Air. This repaint depicts TF-AMO when it was operating on behalf of Cargolux.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paintkit and features DDS DXT5 textures and updated night textures which increase the illumination of the fuselage and tail at night.
PMDG 747-400 for FSX required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

PH-BFM (cn 26373/896) Version 1. Handpainted repaint of the KLM Asia 747 'Mexico' (PH-BFM) for the PMDG 747-400 Queen of the skies model. We've updated the paintkit to create more detail allowing a realistic feel. Adding to this are chipped off parts, wear, rivets breaking through the paintjob, etc. The paint has custom windows, redone night textures and completely new wing textures (Take a look at shot 6 for a comparison). Only works with the PMDG 747-400 with -8 Expansion. Hello gents (and ladies).
I'm sure you all remember the tragic events that took place on 11 September 2001. I haven't had time to do any public paints in a while but wanted to make something special for the upcoming anniversary to pay tribute to all of the victims and surviving families & friends of that dreadful day. Remembering and paying our respects of course is the least we can do, so hope you all like this special tribute 9-11 livery.

This FSX repaint (v3) represents the PMDG 747-400X Queen of the Skies and the latest , updated 2010 United Airlines livery as of September 2010 with new titles based upon the new uppercase Sans Serif font.
This package also includes updated fuselage colors and adds custom cockpit manuals. The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paintkit and features DDS DXT5 textures and updated night textures which increase the illumination of the fuselage and tail at night.

File Description:
United Airlines has been a longtime operator of the Boeing 747. While the -400 is the only variant operated by the airline today, it previously had a fleet of "classic" 747s. This repaint package contains the 747-200 and the 747SP in the Battleship Gray livery as they would be seen just before retirement. Interestingly N145UA was the only SP model to receive this livery. These repaints have been sitting on my computer for quite a while and it was time to finally complete them. Painted on the great Project Opensky models. Enjoy!
