Goodspeed Airport (42B) - East Haddam, Connecticut Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Goodspeed is a privately owned airfield in East Haddam, Connecticut that operates as a public access general aviation facility. The runway is a short 2120 feet and is carefully placed in a shoreline meadow of the Connecticut river. Surrounded by the dense forests and community, the airport is a tight approach, further hampered by the presence of the East Haddam Bridge, which sits under the runway 14 approach. The airport has limited parking facilities for transient aircraft, and it is not common for visiting aircraft to park in the grass in front of the "terminal". Hanger facilities are provided as well. Nearby is the famous Goodspeed Opera House, established back in the 19th century, the house still has operas other performances regularly.

Features: -High Resolution Ground textures around airport; -Accurate models of all airport buildings; -Detailed taxiways and runways; -Super HD grass and pavement; -Custom aerial imagery for area, including autogen; -Full seasonal textures (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter); -Various "Easter Eggs"; -Deer (at dusk); -Christmas Lights (During the Holiday Season); -Night Textures; -Runway Lights, obstruction lights; -And much more!

Bridgeport-Cahill Field Airport (6NJ9), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 01 miles SW of Bridgeport, New Jersey on 167 acres of land, this airport is non-existent in real life, as far as I am able to determine. although it is still listed as Active, no visible trace of anything remotely suitable for a landing strip is visible anywhere in this area. The strip mining operation nearby in some satellite/aerial photos shows a long narrow grass strip that could be used as a runway, but then others show it stripped down to bare dirt as part of the apparent mining operation, and the MegaSceneryEarth textures depict this latter representation as well. So I have simply removed visible evidence of this strip, although FSX will still try to tell you it's there in the airport directory. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Stoe Creek Farm Airport (7NJ2), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 01 miles S of Canton, New Jersey, Stoe Creek Farm is a private turf field 1725' in length. The runway is largely clear of obstructions although on approach for Runway 05 you will deal with 20-30' trees a few hundred feet back from the threshold and there are transmission towers along the approach corridor to Runway 23 you should watch out for. The runway does have edge lighting, although the windsock is not lit at night and daytime VFR is still recommended. There are no services for transient craft at this airfield. Since you will be landing on terrain, it is recommended that your mesh complexity is set as high as possible.

Old Lima, Ohio Municipal Airport (KLIA) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Opened; 1933. Closed; 1980. Built in 1933, it first consisted of 3 sod runways, with a single hangar located in the Northwest corner. It later (around 1960) sported a single paved east-west runway (9/27, 3,500 ft) and two sod strips, with one running parallel to the North of the paved runway. In addition, it had a small office/terminal, a main service hangar, and 3 long T-hangars. It's "golden years" were from 1953-63, when Lake Central Airlines ran DC-3 service connecting Lima to Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh. To view the entire scenery, you'll need two Sidney Schwartz libraries - details in readme.

Massawa International Airport (HHMS) - Landscape Upgrade Download

File Description:
HHMS Massawa International Landscaping. This is to be used with (and requires) my "Massawa International HHMS" scenery (massawa_int_l.zip). This makes the facility look less 'sterile'. I added shrubs around poles, and two types of tree to give it some balance.

SPZO Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport Download

File Description:
SPZO Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (IATA: CUZ, ICAO: SPZO) is located in the city of Cusco, in southeastern Peru. Cusco, a principal tourist attraction in Latin America, receives various domestic flights as well as some international flights. Its runways are completely paved. Currently, it operates at limited capacity due to its precarious location near the city's center. Despite these limitations, the airport has consistently ranked as Peru's second most important airport terminal, handling 1,288,200 national and international passengers in 2009, as reported by CORPAC. The runways were resized the gates placed on correct location and number. The other two files (SPMA) are from Machu Picchu a heliport at the gate of the ruins.

Atlantic City International Airport (KACY), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 09 miles NW of Atlantic City, New Jersey on 5000 acres of land, Atlantic City International Airport is a major airport serving the southern portion of New Jersey. It is also one of the main gateways for tourists looking to vacation in nearby Atlantic City, famous for its boardwalks and casinos. This airport has been very heavily modeled with many surrounding buildings and all aprons properly placed. Gates are all properly located and labeled according to the terminal chart (there are, however, no jetways like in the default scenery). General Aviation parking is available in its proper area all aircraft in the parking area (middle of the tarmac) have collision disabled. If you select Military Cargo parking you will start on one of the helipads in the Coast Guard section. If you select Military Combat parking you will start next to the line of F-16s on ready-alert over on the Air National Guard tarmac. You can also start on a helipad north of the airport. This airport also features completely custom taxiway line and edge lighting. Because this airport uses ATC, it suffers the same bug as my KEWR airport, which is that you cannot receive taxi in directions from ATC to gate, parking or fuel. Almost all arriving AI aircraft will also disappear from the taxiway after radioing in to ATC and failing to receive taxi instructions to the gate/parking. All traffic and instructions taxiing out works fine. All gate parking spaces have fuel, as well as the military parking and north helipad. GA aircraft can get fuel by taxiing over to the fuel station north of the GA tarmac. Taxiing onto a closed runway (marked with an X) will cause a crash. Broken-down taxiways are not good for your undercarriage! Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 003. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Thomas Browne Airpark Airport (61NJ), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 02 miles W of Glassboro, New Jersey, Thomas Browne Airpark Airport is a private turf strip 200080 feet. There is no hard-surfaced runway, which means you will be landing on terrain so it is recommended you set your mesh resolution as high as possible. Watch out for trees and buildings alongside and at opposite ends of the runway. Crop fields are planted to the south of the runway and border the runway. You won't crash if you run into them but it certainly won't put you in good favor with the field owners! Take caution to avoid the transmission line towers as they are not lit at night! Neither is the runway, for that matter, so daytime VFR operations only are recommended for this airfield.
