| French Navy Douglas C47-D Flottille 56S nr 87 |

File Description:
This repaint is inspired by the French Navy livery for the C47 D.
It depicts (more or less) the nr 87 at the end of its career with the 52S Flottille.
Discarding her age, she was a reliable workhorse.
These days she doesn't fly any more but she still exists, standing at the entrance of the Nimes Naval base.
As I wanted to give an over-all impression of the bird I aimed my brushes on the outside and to the interior, including the panel and cockpit as well.
Did some additional bumpmapping (editing the normals accordingly the changes to the exterior).
At the last moment found a French crew, willing to fly this bird to you.

I hope you`ll all enjoy this skin as much as I enjoyed making it.

The airport has been designed to supplement the very basic one supplied with Microsoft Flight Simulator, so as to give a more accurate representation as to what actually exists at Kefallonia Airport.
This scenery includes reasonably correct buildings, lights, signs, fences, a marshall, 7 static aircraft, oil storage tanks, vehicles, people, etc.
Night lighting has been added where appropriate.

The program can convert pictures to texture maps for object creation in Flight Unlimited III.
New features include more generalised image sizes, remapping objects
from San Fran to Seattle (and vice versa), and support of transparency.
This is a complex program to use and assumes a serious understanding of
graphics and object management in the FU3 world.

This repaint is of the TRI Flyhawk (Skyhawk SP) showing a Norwegian registration (LN-NFB). In addition to the new exterior paint, I have changed all of the interior views to include placards in Norwegian, and change the look of the interior to more closely resemble an older 172 "P Model". This is a replication of an actual 172 flown out of the Bergen Flying Club in Norway.
