B58 Hustler v1.1 for X-Plane 6.40/6.51 Updated so PC users can read paint.BMP file- development of the B58 began in 1951 with 161 planes delivered to SAC between 1960 and 1970. Americas first supersonic jet bomber (mach 2+) the B58 was designed for high speed delivery of nuclear or conventional weapons from long range as a compliment to the B52 subsonic bomber. One of the most sophisticated planes ever developed, the B58 set many speed and altitude records some of which remain unbroken today. With a gross takeoff weight of 173000 lbs the B58 could cary as much as 101000 lbs of fuel (that's almost 60% of the gross weight). One of the most computerized aircraft ever built, the B58 is amazingly easy to fly without any computer assistance (except the one used to run the x-plane simulator). Bell 206B JetRanger III

File Description:
Flight Simulator 98 Bell JetRanger texture kit for the default Flight Simulator 2004 Bell JetRanger helicopter. These textures reproduce the original Flight Simulator helicopter paint scheme. Flight Simulator 98 was the first commercial Flight Simulator for a PC platform to have the first true helicopter simulation. The simulation replicated the experience (to a certain degree, of course) of flying the Bell 206B JetRanger III helicopter. The 206 series from Bell Helicopter is perhaps the world's most popular light utility helicopter ever built, with more than two million flight hours - and close to 30,000 flight hours on several JetRangers to date. The first default Bell JetRanger had an off-white and blue paint scheme with gold stripes, and N-number N29PD on the doors. Since the default aircraft's tail, or "N-Number" location cannot be changed in FS2004, this is one detail I decided to omit and opt to use using the "atc_id" tag in the aircraft.cfg file.

De Havilland DHC 3 Otter Amphibian

File Description:
IBM PC version The De Havilland Canada DHC3 Otter was built in the mid 1950's as a workhorse for developing outback Canada. With double slotted full span flaps (drooping ailerons) and 2000lbs payload, its STOL capability, along with also having a float version with retracts, made it an ideal "Bushplane" with unparalelled performance from any contempory aircraft. This model is fully amphibious and was built using Truespace 3.2 and Chris Wallace's 3ds to S3d converter for Fly! II. The model requires that you have the Tri default aircraft installed. A few non-standard features have been included to improve the ease of operation. 1. nose wheel steering (the original uses differential braking and castoring nose gears) 2. an electric pump for hydraulics (optional on the original ) 3. a simple GPS that can be slaved to the auto pilot. (unheard of during the production life of the original but very likely to be found on any survivng present day aircraft. ) Enjoy.

NumberPad Control for FSX and P3D

File Description: NpC4FSX&P3D (NumberPadControl for FSX and P3D) is a more efficient (and more convenient to set up) version of a similar NpC program that I wrote a few years ago and which to my surprise PC Pilot magazine included on their 100th Anniversary edition Freeware CD. With NpC4FSX&P3D you assign keys to functions like Com, Nav, Heading, Course, Altitude, VS, Autopilot functions, etc., and then can enter the associated values (like frequencies or headings) just by typing on the keyboard’s numberpad instead of fiddling with elusive mouse click spots. NpC4FSX&P3D is programmed primarily for aircraft with avionics that were developed within standard FSX programming guidelines but also supports third party add- on aircraft such as the Flysimware L35A and MU2, PMDG 737NGX / B777, Flight1 King Air B200, A2A Cherokee 180, and also works with GPS units like the GTN750. Setup manual included. A registered (payware) copy of FSUIPC is required.

B17 Fortress for x-plane - weapons folder stuff Add the gun to the weapons folder in x-plane 6.xx folder. If you already have a weapon with the same name DO NOT cover it up. Rename this weapon to gun1.wpn or some other name. If you have changed the name then in planemaker go to the default weapons menu and select the new gun name for each gun. Don't change the coordinates of the guns. Sorry for not including this in the original upload.

"Firefox" for x-plane 6.40 is a mythical mach 4.1 spy plane, built strictly for speed, with a high lift to drag ratio of 5.9 to 6 even above mach 4. At 80000 feet it can cruise at mach 4 for 12000 nm. With a gross wt. of 71000 lb. and fuel capacity of 47000 lb. it is a flying fuel tank built strictly for reconnaissance and photography. The plane is very stable and easy to fly at all altitudes up to about 85000 feet.

SAS DC-6B Textures

File Description:
These are reflective textures for Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson's great GMAX DC-6B Super Cloudmaster. They represent a Scandinavian Airlines DC-6B, registration SE-BDU / "Erik Viking" / cn 44168. SAS took delivery of this ship on Dec 16, 1953 and it flew in their system until Feb 1, 1961. It was one of 14 DC-6Bs in their fleet. "Erik Viking" flew SAS' famous "Over the Pole Route" from Copenhagen to Tokyo in the late 1950s through 1960. Requires Calclassic DC-6 file dc6baal2.zip

File Description:
ZIP Air is a subsidiary airline of Air Canada. They offer low fares all across Canada. The company started with a small fleet of 6 B732's and the first flight was on September 22, 2002. They are slowly expanding, with all of their aircraft being redistributed from Air Canada. Their fleet is full of vibrant colors, and four are in this package. The original model was for FS2002, and was created by Jorge Oppenheimer. The flight dynamics, adaptation to FS2004, and textures by Jesse Kovacs.
