American Airlines Boeing 737-800 Old Colors 2-pack Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
PMDG NGXu 737-800 American Airlines Old Colors for P3Dv4. This package includes two of AA's 738s; one without winglets (N947AN 2000) and another with winglets (N904NN 2013). I've also included two bonus variations of these aircraft that can also be installed without using much additional hard drive space. Install using the PMDG Operations Center 2.0. For best results, make sure that you have Dynamic Reflections turned on to at least "low". PBR is also required for these paints to look right. Thanks to Brian Thibodeaux for the use of one of his texture files, and for his fantastic PBR tutorial video on Youtube.

Silver City Airways, Douglas DC-3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Silver City Airways was registered as a British company in November 1946. It was named after a nickname of the town of Broken Hill, Australia associated with the companies owners the Zinc Corporation and commenced operations using Lancastrian aircraft. DC-3's were added to the fleet for shorter range charter flights. Initially managed and administered by British Aviation Services who eventually bought Silver City in the 50's. British Aviation Services also owned Air Kruise, Lancashire Aircraft Corporation and Manx Airlines. Some of Silver City Airlines DC-3 were transferred to Air Kruise between 1953 and 1958 and thereafter were repainted back to Silver City Airways livery. In 1962 British Aviation Services was taken over by Air Holdings, the parent company of British United Airways. By the end of 1962 all Silver City aircraft had either been repainted into British United colours or retired from service and the name ceased to be used. Over the years Silver City owned or leased over twenty DC-3's but few photos exist. This set of repaints depict seven of those aircraft. Requires default Douglas DC-3.

Convair F-102A Delta Dagger Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Convair F-102A Delta Dagger. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for the second of the Century Series fighter aircraft, one of the backbones of Air Defense Command and Air National Guard squadrons from the mid-1950s to mid-1970s. The "Deuce" first flew in 1953, and 1,000 of these aircraft served as strategic interceptors during the height of the Cold War. Late examples served until 1979, over twenty years after its introduction; and many were expended as target drones on live fire ranges. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package is a complete representation of the F-102 through its entire career, in the service of the USAF as well as NASA, and the Hellenic and Turkish Air Forces. Models included are F-102A/TF-102A with both Case X and Case XX wings, and the PQM-102 manned and un-manned drones, with a total of 10 models and 164 repaints, to include over 70 individual squadron schemes. Original aircraft model, master textures, and all release repaints by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. PLEASE READ THE DOCUMENTATION FOR RESEARCH DISCLAIMERS.

North American F-100 Super Sabre (Part 3) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
North American F-100 Super Sabre (Part 3). This aircraft, also known as the Hun, was the first of a long success of Century Series fighter aircraft during the 1950s and 1960s. I present a comprehensive 8-LOD AI traffic model for this cold warrior of military jet history, utilizing original source material from Jake Burrus. Going into production in 1953, 2,294 aircraft served thirty-five years in the USAF and the air forces of France, Turkey, Denmark, and Taiwan. The F-100 was originally designed as a daytime air superiority fighter (with all-cannon armament); but evolved into a capable light attack aircraft which served extensively in Vietnam. An original 8-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-100D in the Vietnam and post-Vietnam service of the USAF/ANG,with a total of 6 models and 64 repaints. Additionally, I am including the F-100C in late ANG service, with 18 additional repaints. Original aircraft model by Jake Burrus and Michael Pearson, textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. Please read included documentation.

Consolidated PBY-5 TEAL ZK-AMP Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Aerosoft. The Royal New Zealand Air Force had 56 Catalina's in all between 1943 and 1953. They were registered NZ4001-4056 inclusive and included 22 PBY-5s (mostly MklVAs) with the remainder being PB2B-1 s. All were flying boats, with no amphibian models being taken on charge. After the war only half a dozen or so of the best aircraft were maintained in service with No 5 Sqn (squadron code became KN-) and fitted with the latest search radar which had a large radome behind the cockpit. The remainder were put into storage. Two PB2B-ls were loaned to Tasman Empire Airways (TEAL) for short periods after the war, one (which became ZK-AMI) as a crew trainer, the other (ZK-AMP, former NZ4036) to survey a flying boat route from Fiji to Tahiti, later to become known as "The Coral Route" and used by TEAL's Solent flying boats. These two aircraft were eventually returned to the RNZAF before being scrapped.
