Avro/Hawker-Siddley HS.748 for AI Traffic. This MCX conversion of the FS9 CPAI model is only compatible with P3Dv4.5/P3Dv5.2. The models have PBR texturing and numerous other P3Dv4/5 upgrades. This package includes two models and 24 repaints. Permission for conversion kindly given by Christian Page. Please read documentation for instructions and additional credits. Original aircraft by Christian Page, MCX and RADiator utilities by Arno Gerretsen, MCX conversion by Michael Pearson, release repaints by Christian Page and Michael Pearson.

| British Aerospace 146 / Avro RJ Runway Performance Calculator |

File Description:
This file is an Open Office Calc spreadsheet which calculates the runway performance required by the BAe146 / Avro RJ family of aircraft. The user is required to enter the passenger numbers, freight and fuel figures in kg, and the departure and destination airfield data and weather. The spreadsheet will calculate the required runway TODA and LDA distances in meters and provide an FSX/P3D fuel and payload table to be copied into the simulator. Note. the figures supplied are based on published British Aerospace data, but not taken from actual performance documents. If entering pressure in inches then leave MB as zero to obtain the correct calculation. The landing weight calculations are based on the take off weight and estimated fuel burn. To obtain a more accurate calculation then add the TOD fuel weight in the box provided. Weights in kgs and runway data in meters.

This particular aircraft, OO-DWD, holds the distinction of being the final example of the BAe 146/Avro family in Belgian service, operating its last scheduled flight, SN2720 from Geneva to Brussels, on 28 October 2017. Repaint by Craig West, using the paint kit kindly supplied by Just Flight.

Cityjet has 21 SSJ100s on order, first of which has been rolled out in the new livery and to be delivered end of this month (May 2016). These aircraft will eventually replace the Avro RJs the airline currently operate. Textures only, requires the basepack available on avsim named "ssj100v11c.zip". Also works in FSX.

File Description:
In the late 1930s with a new war on the horizon, extra airfields were again needed to accommodate an expansion of the RAF. Former First World War stations were surveyed for suitability, and an area just to the west of the original Elsham site was deemed to be better suited. work began in the winter of 1939-1940, and the station opened with the arrival in July 1941 of 103 Squadron. The station was equipped with a main runway 2,000 yards (1,829 m) long, and two subsidiaries of 1,600 yards (1,463 m) and 1,400 yards (1,280 m). Three hangars (two T-2's and one J-Type) and 27 aircraft hardstands (later increased to 36) were built. Three more T-2 hangars were built in 1944. Accommodation for around 2,500 personnel was dispersed in the nearby farmland.
No. 103 is credited with more operational sorties than any other 1 Group squadron, and consequently suffered the group's highest losses. Of the 248 bombers lost on operations flying from Elsham Wolds, 198 were from No. 103 Squadron. By type, losses were 28 Vickers Wellingtons, 12 Halifaxes and 208 Lancasters. One Elsham Wolds Lancaster, Lancaster III ED888 M2 (Mike Squared)[3] which served with both Nos. 103 and 576, held the Bomber Command record for operational sorties, having completed 140 between May 1943 and December 1944.[4] A total of 974 operational hours. Co. for Regional European Air Transport (German: Crossair AG für europäischen Regionalluftverkehr) was a regional airline headquartered on the grounds of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in Saint-Louis, Haut-Rhin, France, near Basel, Switzerland. It became Swiss International Air Lines after taking over most of the assets of Swissair following that airline's bankruptcy in 2002.
