Faroes Islands mesh and scenery

File Description:
This is, as far as we know, the first non-default mesh of the Faroe Islands and a vast improvement over the default. It is based on the free data made available by Jonathan de Ferranti. The default is not placed correctly so the package includes also new coastlines, land class, streams and other basic elements plus some of the towns and objects on the islands. It will be supplemented later with more towns and other scenery elements.

Douglas A-26 Invader (N4313) "Sweet Eloise II"

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-26 Invader by Milton Shupe and many others at Sim-Outhouse. It shows A-26C 44-34313 Sweet Eloise II N4313. Sweet Eloise is a resatored warbird with over 1800 Hours of combat time. It is painted in the markings it had originally when it was the personal aircraft of the 730th Bomb Squadron Commander, Charles H. Howe, at Pusan, South Korea in 1951, who named the aircraft "Sweet Eloise" after his wife. It was also the first A-26 developed into a Fire Bomber, in 1959. The South African Railways Class 37-000 Diesel Electric Locomotive was built by GM. The GM class is GT26MC. It was manufactured to move heavy trains at moderate speed, on a 3 Feet 6 Inch gauge track. ( 3' 6" ) The power source is a 2 Stroke V-16 Turbo Diesel Engine with After Cooling. Type 16-645E3B. It has 6 off, 4 Pole, axle hung Traction motors. Wheel configuration is 12 off, 40-Inch. Gear Ratio 63 : 14 and the Max. speed 100 Km/h. The above Engine, together with the Generator and 6 off Traction motors, developes 2342Kw power. The Loco Height is 3.972m, Length is 19.202m, Width is 2.818m and the Weight is 126,000 Kgs.

VSpeedCalculator 1.0

File Description:
Vertical Speed Calculator software usable for virtual or real flights. It includes immediate conversions from Feet/Knots in Meters/Km-h, a LED countdown, a LED timer. User just have to enter required parameters (waypoint name, track distance, speed, altitude 1 and altitude 2) for each new waypoint and can add it to a list that can be saved or exported (text format) or printed, modified and reopened at infinite. The results yields are the flight time required between 2 waypoints, the QNH Mach speed equivalence (if the speed entered was in knot), or the Knot speed (if the speed entered was in Mach), and of course the vertical speed for the requested track.

Hubble Space Telescope Update 1

File Description:
This is an update to the Hubble Space Telescope that comes with the 031105 build of ORBITER. It has the following upgrades: -New mesh -Correct behaviour of the Solar Arrays -Axial Bay1 door animation -Berthing and Postioning System(BAPS) meshes. This is the work cradle that the HST is placed on during the service missions. I also included the BAPS config that was used on the deployment mission, STS-31. -The Solar Arrays can now be rotated using CTRL-R. === Known bugs === -The Axial Bay1 door and the Solar Array rotation is not saved after quiting ORBITER. USAAF B-24H "Little Warrior" 493rd BG 8th AAF

File Description:
This B-24H-20-FO 42-94812 was produced at the Ford Company's Willow Run plant. It was assigned to the 861st Bomb Sqdn, 493rd Bomb Group, 8th AAF, flying out of Debach, England. On 29 Jun 1944 the 2Lt John H Hansen flew this aircraft on a mission to Quakenbruk, Germany. When flak punctured the fuel transfer system in the bomb bay, "Little Warrior" instantly turned into a fiery blow torch before blowing up over Fallersleben, Germany. All the crew perished. I offer this repaint as a memorial to all those airmen who met with sudden death in the skies of WWII. Textures only, requires the original PAYWARE Alpha-Sim aircraft.

Horton Ho-229v3 r2

File Description:
The Horten Ho-229 was a World War II prototype flying wing fighter/bomber. Designed by Reimar and Walter Horten and powered by two Jumo 004B turbojets it was built to carry a 1,000 kg load for 1,000 km at 1,000 km/h. This is an updated version with 6 skins and visual model from Kazunori Ito's FS 2004 Ho229ab version and flight model from Jay McDaniel/Scott Gentile CFS3 ho_229v5 version. It has been adapted to FSX with a new instrument panel and gauges based on original Ho-229 photographs (no VC). Integration and gauges by Fred Highland. Version r2 is the compute aircraft with impoved cockpit graphics and more realistic aero modelling.
