File Description: This repaint is for the A2A Accu-sim Spitfire Mk. IIb. Representing the Spitfire Mk. Vc(T) MA292 "Verna June II", of 615 Sqn., Dohazari, India in January 1944. Flown by New Zelander, Flt.Lt. Lawrence Weggery. Port and starboard cannon are inscribed "VERA" and "MARY" respectively.

Spitfire Mk.Vb (W3848) - night fighter

File Description: This repaint is for the WoP III Spitfire Mk. IIb. During the winter of 1941/1942, Spitfire Mk. Vb JU-H, believed to be W3848, of 111 Squadron RAF Debden, was painted as a night fighter and flown by Sergeant Peter Durnford. He was later shot down in a different Spitfire by flak, in November 1942 and taken prisoner. His final tally was 5 destroyed and 1 damaged.

The download included two versions, one with full markings and a second without German tail markings (complying with Federal German law). For the payware A2A WOPIII Spitfire add on. This paint is semi-fictitious, as the real T9+EK was in fact a Spitfire Mk IX.

Royal Hellenic Air Force, Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb

File Description:
The Spitfire MK V was one of the best known marks, powered by the Merlin 46 of 1440 hp. It served from the Summer of 1941 on, and was the first Spitfire to serve overseas.The trop was modified to operate in dusty and adverse environments such as North Africa. The Royal Hellenic Air Force received 56 Spitfires Mk Vb/MkVc from R.A.F., during January of 1944. These planes were assigned to 335th and 336th Fighter Squadron R.H.A.F.used these Mk Vbs until 1953. 2 Textures sets (1944 camo and 1948 natural metal, textures only) for payware 'Sky Unlimited Spitfire Mk V'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.
