It is surrounded to the north by a mountain range with reliefs of over 2000 meters high. The territory is mainly covered by extensive forests. The city is characterized by a mausoleum that recalls the First World War. In addition, the Astrophysical Observatory of Asiago, also known as the "Pennar Observatory", stands on the Pennar Hill at 1040 meters high, surrounded by a thick forest. Benevento Italy N41.07.46 E14.46.55 The foundation of city dates back to far. Founded according to legend by the Greek hero Diomedes, landed in Italy after the destruction and the fires of Troy. The modern city rises on a discreet plateau, known all over the world for its elixir "Strega" produced in liquorice premises. Benevento, also has a modest airmort by name "Olivola" with ICAO "LIRB" airport you will find in the scenery. It was built at the beginning of the 1930s by the troops of Regia Aeronautica as the Italian operating base and Luftwaffe. Since the end of the 1960s, the airport sedan has returned to the civilian democracies and has been abandoned for several years. Today the airport is used as aviosurface The city is an excellent VFR point for approaching airport Benevento LIRB.

This scenario rappresents Canne an ancient city of Puglia, which stood at 54 m s.l.m. above a hill located on the right bank of the Ofanto, 9 km from the sea. Famous for the famous Battle of Canne, today in the locality called Canne della Battaglia. Like many Apulian cities, Canne was born between the VI-IV century BC Here on August 2, 216 BC, perhaps in the locality still known today as the field of blood, the famous "Battle of Canne" took place, where the Romans suffered a serious defeat by the Carthaginians led by Hannibal. Later, a battle between the Byzantines and the Longobardi was also fought here. Today famous archaeological site and important point of report VFR.
