| Yana Airlines 1999 AI Package |

File Description:
Yana Airlines was a short-lived Cambodian Airline which started up at the start of 1999 to connect Phenom Phen with Singapore, Indonesia and China with a pair of IL-62Ms. The airline quickly lost money, and a group of Australian business men re-organized the carrier in 2002 after the fall lof Royal Air Cambodge to attempt to gain that carriers lost market share. They were unsuccessful and the airline shut down on 16OCT2003. Note that this airline served Guangzhou(ZGGG) which was using the old airport at the time which closed in 2003, and flights are assigned ZGGX to use that old airport, so you'll need to change them if you wish to use the current airport(for which a 1998 scenery will be released in the coming months). File Description:
In 1998, Air Tanzania was basically serving it's entire region of operation, stretching all the way to Yemen and Saudi Arabia! Impressive, especially given the fact that the airline was only operating a single Fokker 27 and 2 737-200s at the time! The Fokker stays close while the 737s do the longer flights. JRO and DAR are the best places to spot these aircraft, though they are usually not on the ground long at all! And to think today this carrier has a modern fleet including the 787 and A220, quite the journey it has been for this carrier. | Asiana Airlines 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Asiana and Korean Air had full control of the Korean domestic market in 1998 as South Korea's only 2 scheduled airlines, making them appear at the vast majority of Korean airports. 737-500s were exiting the fleet, with only 3 remaining, and the first A321 had just come online. International routes were flown by 747-400 Combis or 767-300s, with several "tag on" routes onward from Seoul. Asiana served many commercial airports in Japan with 737-400s at the time, and is an important part of the Japanese traffic as well. The carrier had 2 737-500s and it's first A321 painted in a special "Experimental Color Scheme"(EC), and this is represented in the flightplans. One 737-500 also remained in a slightly different older livery dubbed as the "1994" colors, while the rest of the fleet had been modified to the "1998" colors. As a BONUS, ranmori has painted the 747-400, 747-400M and 737-400 in the 1994 livery for use with those flightplans, though there is no use for them in these 1998 plans. Repaints included for the FAIB 737-400, 737-500, 767-300, 747-400, and A321. All repaints were done by the very talented Ranmori Scythe, flightplans done by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. | Palestinian Airlines 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Palestinian Airlines was the short-lived hopeful airline of Palestine. Until the opening of the Yasser Arafat International Airport on the Gaza Strip(GZA\LVGZ) in November 1998, all flights were based out of the Al Arish Airport(AAC\HEAR) in Egypt. As I find GZA more interesting, I have made a version of these plans that use GZA and a version that use AAC, as in the September OAG, all flights were using AAC. Scheduled flights were flown by a lone Fokker 50, with 3x weekly to AMM and 2x weekly to JED. The 727-200 was doing charters to cities in the region, so I made representative plans for it using photo data and some other information I was able to find out about the routes and even general timings. The 727-200 departs GZA/AAC at 0830 daily and spends the night upon arrival, so you can often catch it at the home base while still seeing it abroad. | Korean Air 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Korean Air was one of only 2 airlines doing domestic Korean flights in 1998, with Korean Air having a much larger market share than Asiana and extensively flying the A300s on many domestic routes. By 1998, Korean Air had converted(to a freighter) or retired most of the 747-200s, 747-300s, MD-11s and A300B4s, but they were still in the fleet in very small numbers. The A330-300 and 777-200 were also starting to join the fleet very slowly with a few examples of each. The MD-80s and Fokker 100s were being used in decent numbers on both domestic flights and flights to Japan and China. The 747SPs were active but only picked up flying as spare airplanes, so they mostly sit in GMP but during the week do GMP-SFO-DEN, GMP-NRT-LAX-GMP, and GMP-HKG flights taken from 747-400s. As is the case with some of these plans, to upkeep 100% of the OAG flight schedule using the limitations of AI in flight simulator, there are a few extra planes(4x MD-80 and 1x Fokker 100) in these plans with fake registration numbers. The user may decided if they'd rather see all real life flights or the real amount of aircraft. Ranmori has painted a 727-200 as a bonus, and I gave these extra 4 MD-80s registration numbers from 727s and segregated them from the flightplans in case you wish to use the 727, but in real life it was retired in late 1996. Note that these plans and all 1998 plans use the Seoul-Gimpo airport(GMP/RKSS) as Incheon(ICN/RKSI) did not open until 2001. Textures by Ranmori Scythe for the AIA MD-80, Fokker 100, FAIB 747-200, 747-300, 747-400, 747SP FSPX 777-200, A330-300, MD-11, TFS A300B4 and A300-600R along with the AIA 727-200 bonus included. | Hawaiian Air 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Hawaiian Air was a shell of itself in the Transpacific market in 1998 compared to today, while it was fiercely competing with Aloha Airlines in the intra-Hawaii market. DC-10-10s preformed all Long Haul flights as well as those to the USA, while a fleet of DC-9-50s competed with Aloha between the islands. At the time, all flights from OGG to the mainland actually originated in Honolulu and made a stop in Maui in each direction on which no tickets were sold between HNL\OGG. LAX was used as a stop over point as well for flights between HNL\OGG and LAS. All mainland flights from HNL were daily while flights to other destinations in the Pacific and between the mainland and OGG were operated only a few days per week. HNL-LAX was the busiest route for the DC-10, with 3 daily flights. The MD-80s, other DC-9 variants, and the DHC-7s were gone by 1998, but the DC-9-50s still served the smaller airports of LNY and MKK(even with some very short flights between the two) at the time which were soon after abandoned until Ohana by Hawaiian was launched in recent years with ATR-42s. File Description:
TAM Express was the regional subsidiary of TAM, operating a large fleet of Cessna Caravans connecting the major hubs with small cities across Brazil. The Caravans operated in full TAM colors and filled CGH and other busy airports while making multi-stop trips across the country of Brazil that sometimes went on for the better part of the day. The operation was so geographically vast that not all the networks are connected. Flightplans by Raphael Rodrigues, HTAI Cessna 208 texture by Jonathan Alba included. File Description:
Interbrasil Star was the regional affiliate of Transbrasil, giving passengers connecting options onwards from GRU and BSB. The airline was operating 5 EMB-120s in 1998. The airline failed along with Transbrasil in 2001. Flightplans by Rapahel Rodrigues. Repaint for the AIA EMB-120 by Jonathan Alba included(old colors only, the new livery was not active in 1998 yet).
