The squadron was normally based in Caloundra, Western Australia, but usually operated from a secret base at Corunna Downs in the Pilbara, close to Marble Bar. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

It shows B-24J 44-44143 Liberator Mk.VI KH272 D "Daedalus" of RAF No.356 Squadron, based in Salbani, India. On April 18, 1945, while piloted by F/Lt Newman, was hit by flak over the target in Burma and crashed into a canal. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

It shows B-24H-10-FO 42-52256 "Buttercup" of the 739th BS, 454th BG, based in San Giovanni, Italy. The aircraft was shot down over Bad Voslau on 4-12-1944, while piloted by Lt John O'Connor. Lt. O'Connor and 5 other crew members survived, the other five were killed. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

The aircraft was shot down near Budapest by a Me-110 of ZG76/5 on April 13th, 1944. 3 crew members were killed, the other 7 crew members survived,becoming POW's. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.
