He was a Canadian pilot with 17 victories by the time he was shot down on January 12th, 1941. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

Frank 'Duffy' Middleton of the 57th FG/65th FS from Alto airbase on Corsica in 1944-45, mainly over northern Italy as part of Operation Strangle. They found the abandoned aircraft Castel Beneto airfield near Tripoli, made it airworthy again and used it as a hack aircraft for squadron personnel. This folder contains a repaint for the Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of Fairchild C-119 N8504X that operated on the salmon run from Anchorage. It was originally 53-8142 with the USAF, but became N8504X in 1980. It crashed at Shageluk, AK in 1987. The wreck is currently in use as a workshop in Shageluk. Originally delivered to the Belgian Air Force as CP-11, this aircraft went to the Norwegian Air Force with 7 other C-119's, where they were used until 1969, when they were returned to the USAF. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.
