File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Curtiss P-40B. It represents AVG Hawk 81-a2 P-8186 #75 flown by Bill Reed of the 3rd Squadron, Kunming, China, January 1942. He scored 3 aerial and 8 ground victories while flying with the AVG. He returned to the US Army Air Force, scored six more victories, but was killed trying to bail out of his aircraft in December 1944. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

This aircraft probably came from the RAF, judging by the overpainted markings. There are pictures of the wreckage of this aircraft, but it is not clear when and where the aircraft crashed. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.
