File Description:
The Space Shuttle Grand Explorations Pack chronicles the 3 amazing planetary missions launched by the Space Transportation System from 1989-1990. These three missions were delayed from 1986 launches by the Challenger Disaster. Included are: STS-30 Magellan Venusian Radar Mapping Probe Deploy mission STS-34 Galileo Probe to Jupiter (atmospheric probe included) Deploy mission STS-41 Ulysses Polar Solar Probe Thanks to Jack Higgins of Celestia for the superb meshes! Orbiter *.msh File Export / Import Tool for Gmax and 3DSMax v1.2

File Description:
Version 1.2 of the .msh file export/import tool for gmax and 3DSMax. New in this version:

• reorganised the 3 scripts into one script defining 2 utilities with their own rollouts, feature for saving to a file or dumping to Listener is now selectable through radio buttons, the script should now be placed in the scriptsstartup directory of gmax/3DSMax and can then be used via the MAXScript rollout in the Utilities tab
• grouped objects are now exported correctly, group objects are skipped, also nested groups should work
• all objects with transparent materials assigned (opacity < 100) are now placed at the end of the mesh file
• new feature for rotating the mesh by 90 degrees around x on import/export this makes it easier to edit models in gmax, especially ground scenes
• fixed a problem on importing meshes that don't specify normal vectors
• made import more stable towards meshes that don't 100% conform to the .msh format
• external tool "GMaxMshGrabber" for grabbing the .msh file output from the MAXScript Listener window to a file is now part of the package

Prometeus

File Description:
Prometeus is completely reusable shuttle of new generation . atmospheric flight dynamics allowing a precision runway landing with full gear and bay animation, there is a docking port. This also includes two exploration satellites. This addon requires Orbiter Build 030303 needs Vinkas Spacecraft & Vinkas Multistage.

SPSDK 1.5

File Description:
Allows building Orbiter ship-addons with internal equipments and panels, using ACII text configuration files. Though a C++ compiler is still needed, it greatelly oversimplifes building complex panels for your addons. As of V1.5 multi-stage ships w/ panels CAN be build w/out a C++ compiler. Animations are not supported yet.

Ariane5 / Hermes Shuttle / MTFF module

File Description:
Ariane5 launcher in different configurations, European Shuttle "Hermes" and European Space Station "Man tended free flyer". Needs latest versions of Vinkas spacecraft.dll and multistage.dll installed (the ones with autopilot). also usefull, but not needed, is to install my kourou addon here at avsim.com. needs orbiter build 030303 to work. this one fixes a bug in the hermes launch scenario file.

Sextant HLLV Booster

File Description:
This is SEXTANT, the Shuttle EXternal TANk Transport. It is a hypothetical booster that uses beefed up shuttle external tanks for its structure and RS68 engines from the Delta IV. I can lift up to 500 tons into LEO. I've included the 3ds files so any of you can modify the booster or the cargo pod as you wish.
