Soyuz I Mission

This addon reproduces the Soyuz I Mission as flown by Vladimir Komarov on April 23, 1967. It features a Soyuz 11A511 booster with capability to lift a 6450kg payload to a 200 x 220 km, 51.63 degrees inclination orbit. This addon compatible with Orbiter build 030303.

Soviet Soyuz Tanker

File Description:
Based upon an early proposal for a Soyuz upper stage that was to be used as a refuelling vessel for long duration missions. This upper stage can refuel any docked vessel with up to two different propellant resources; the capacity of the tank can be configured in the scenario file, using a default value of 6000 kg. Using higher values is not advised since it may compromise the capability of the launch vehicle to lift this stage into orbit. This version introduces particle exhaust and a fix to the guidance algorithm that allows for multiple simultaneous launches. Based on original work bye mcdope and rjcroy

Soyuz Guidance MFD v1.02

File Description:
Soyuz Guidance MFD provides a guidance & control system for the Soyuz 7K-OK and Progress spacecraft, including an automated rendezvous function. The other programs in the MFD are automated apogee/perigee adjustments and automated orbital plane alignment. The package also contains a spreadsheet for calculating launch times required to make a rendezvous with an orbiting satellite. A scenario called 'Mission to ISS' is provided that takes you from the Baikonur cosmodrome to the ISS with the assistance of detailed flight procedures given in the manual. Full source code included. Salyut 4 - Soyuz 17

File Description:
***REQUIREMENTS*** spacecraft.dll, launch scenarios require D. Henderson's CVE-lite 'Proton-k' and 'Soyuz-Launchers' (available at orbiterhangar - www.orbithangar.com/searchauth.cfm?search=dh219, and sourceforge - sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=58685) ***INSTALLATION*** unzip with full paths option to orbiter's root folder. ***USE*** on orbit, jettison each craft to it's on-orbit configuration (sorry, no animations yet...) with the 'j' key (make sure to press 'j' only once with the soyuz or else you'll endup separating the orbital module... doh!!) 'j' key also jettisons the soyuz's orbital module (BO) and propulsion module (PAO) from the reentry capsule (SA)... also, no parachutes yet for the SA (still working out the details and data on that yet), so have fun on reentry as it'll be your last, cosmonaut! ***NOTES*** the soyuz7k-t included is a new (and hopefully improved) version of my previous one; the salyut4 station is all new... enjoy! cheers hc
