| SASSTO v1.0 |
|
File Description:
Phil Bono's littlest SSTO rocket was a modified Saturn S-IVB stage with a Gemini capsule atop it. You can fly the SASSTO around the earth, dock it to Skylab (not included), or to a fueling station (included!) to gas up and move beyond LEO. The choice is yours!

| TX Winged Space Launcher Second Release |
|
File Description:
TX (Tug eXperimental) - the experimental hypersonic airspace vehicle. TX is the universal orbital launcher which can lift into a low circular orbit any payloads in weight up to 40-50 tons. TX also can serve as the first stage for heavier payloads having own engines. Payload configuration is provided through a scenario file. Features: some animation of the visual model, combined hydrogen engines, accurate model of an atmospheric phase of flight, no instrumental panel (may be released in next version). Detailed documentation. This package also includes "SRC Space Port" - space port for basing TX vehicle (SRC - "Space Research Center"), Star City scenery and experimental VTOL-X ship. Installation is very easy and fully described in readme file. This is the second release, ver. 1.2.2.0 (for changes see readme file).

| Stanford Torus Space Colony v1.0 |
|
File Description:
What will future space colonization realistically look like? What is it like to approach a rotating station almost 2km in diameter?
The Stanford Torus is based on a design created during a 10 week program in 1975 held at NASA’s Ames Research Center and Stanford University. The project participants considered how to create a practicable permanent colony in space using existing technology at minimum cost.
The habitat is over 1800m in diameter and spins at 1 rpm to provide 1g of pseudo-gravity.
Package includes a scenario to fly from the ISS up to a GEO rendez-vous with Stanford, as well as documentation on the station itself. I am looking for a texture artist to do the station justice, since my textures are pretty sad. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested.
INSTALLATION: You need Vinka's spacecraft.dll to use this add-on. A link is provided in the documentation.
1. Unzip files into your Orbiter directory, preserving the directory structure in the zipfile.
2. Load up the Stanford scenario in the Stanford directory in the Orbiter start window.
3. Enjoy the trip!

| Alpha Centuri Enhancement Addon 1 |
|
File Description:
Updated correction. An enhancement package for the Alpha Centuri addon for Orbiter. Included in this enhancement pack are full color planetary and moon maps for most of the systems in the Alpha Centuri system, 3 new planets, a correction to orbital data for planet Alpha7, an updated alpha_centuri.cfg file, including the fix from the patch, and a new base on Alpha2a with accompianing new scenareo. Planet 3 now works! It is a Venus type of moon 2.5 AU away from the star. The crash to desktop when you exit Orbiter is no more. I desided to release future updates like this, as a numbered enhancement pack instead of re-releasing the entire 5 meg system. Each enhancement pack will be numbered numerically if and when I do a new update. Any future updates will require all past enhancement packs installed.

File Description:
bondVaga Space Station
Add-on Description:
This is the beta release V1.1. Feedback and suggestions welcome.
Note: High polygon count (81301 triangles) and textures measuring 512x512. May not be suitable for older machines.
REQUIRES: Vinka's Spacecraft3 dll.
This is a scene study from a novel in progress, and is the version of Titan Werks construction station some forty years after development. The damaged EFT cargo bay (the site of a tug's collision) has been turned into an absurdist shrine to Dali by artist squatters going by the name of the NeoSurrealistCollective.
See release notes for credits, and install-readme.txt for installation instructions.
V 1-0 (fixed scale problem. Now it's the correct size).
V 1-1 (added thrusters for maintaining optimum solar panel position, added simulated running lights, and scenarios)

| Skylab 2 Mission |
|
File Description:
The Skylab space station was launched May 14, 1973, from the NASA
Kennedy Space Center by a huge Saturn V launch vehicle, the moon
rocket of the Apollo Space Program. Sixty-three seconds after liftoff,
the meteoroid shield--designed also to shade Skylab's workshop
--deployed inadvertently. It was torn from the space station by
atmospheric drag. This event and its effects started a ten-day period
in which Skylab was beset with problems that had to be conquered
before the space station would be safe and habitable for the three
manned periods of its planned eight-month mission.
skylab 2
25 May 1973 13:00 GMT. Duration: 28.03 days. Call Sign: Skylab. Backup
Crew: McCandless, Musgrave, Schweickart. Nation: USA. Agency: NASA.
Launch Site: Cape Canaveral . Launch Complex: LC39B. Launch Vehicle:
Saturn IB . LV Configuration: Saturn IB s/n SA-206. Program: Skylab.
Class: Manned. Type: Lunar spacecraft. Spacecraft: Apollo CSM. Payload
: Apollo CSM 116. Mass: 19,979 kg. Location of Spacecraft: Naval
Aviation Museum, Pensacola, FL. Perigee: 427 km. Apogee: 439 km.
Inclination: 50.0 deg. Period: 93.2 min.
Epic repair mission which brought Skylab into working order. Included
such great moments as Conrad being flung through space by the whiplash
after heaving on the solar wing just as the debris constraining it
gave way; deployment of a lightweight solar shield, developed in
Houston in one week, which brought the temperatures down to tolerable
levels. With this flight US again took manned spaceflight duration
record.
