| GSPIN Rotating Space Station |
|
File Description:
The station consists of a habitat (9 ton) at the end of a 50 m wire, and a centre service module (6 ton) with a docking port, solar panels and a heat radiator. These two elements are connected by an inflated tunnel.
The assembly was launched on a Delta 4 Heavy. The burnt-out upper stage is the counter weight (6 ton) at the end of 75 m long wires.
The rotational speed is 2.5 rpm, resulting in a artificial gravity of 3.4 m/s², about 1/3 of earth gravity. This rotation is well within the 'convenience limit' of about 3 rpm. The effects of preventing bone degradation of the astronauts on long space travels shall be studied aboard this station.
A spacecraft with a centre-line docking port (like the Delta Glider or the CEV) is required for docking.

| Antiope |
|
File Description:
This add-on package is an attempt to figure a real orbital behaviour for a double asteroid, Antiope, part of the Main Asteroid Belt.
Two asteroids, known as 90 Antiope and S2000 90 1, each of 85 km diameter and 4.1e17 kg mass, orbit around their center of gravity in a period of 16.496 H.

| Stanford Torus Space Station v1.5 |
|
File Description:
Updated with MUCH nicer and smaller textures!!
What will future space colonization realistically look like? What is it like to approach a rotating station almost 2km in diameter?
The Stanford Torus is based on a design created during a 10 week program in 1975 held at NASA’s Ames Research Center and Stanford University. The project participants considered how to create a practicable permanent colony in space using existing technology at minimum cost. The habitat is over 1800m in diameter and spins at 1 rpm to provide 1g of pseudo-gravity.
Package includes a scenario to fly from the ISS up to a GEO rendez-vous with Stanford, as well as documentation on the station itself.
INSTALLATION: You need Vinka's spacecraft.dll to use this add-on. A link is provided in the documentation. 1. Unzip files into your Orbiter directory, preserving the directory structure in the zipfile. 2. Load up the Stanford scenario in the Stanford directory in the Orbiter start window. 3. Enjoy the trip!

| External Tank Stations 1.0 |
|
File Description:
External Tank Stations were a popular concept in the 1980s.
This add-on simulates three variations of ET Station; a zero gravity station and two rotating artificial-gravity stations. The artificial-gravity stations feature non-rotating docking nodes for shuttle docking.
Uses Vinka's spacecraft2.dll (included).

| Orbiter Scenario Editor v1.08 |
|
File Description:
Orbiter Scenario Editor allows to modify, create or delete scenario files on an easy way.
It automatically scans the Orbiter configuration and installed add-on files and presents then all the possible options.
It particularly manages the scenario focus and environment, the orbital stations and ship to be included in the scenario.
The bases, planets, planetary system configurations are not managed by Orbiter Scenario Editor for their parameters are not managed within the scenario files but their own configuration files.
