This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44A Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1362, originally J4F-2 #37732. It first flew as N9236H with Western newspapers United, before going to Amphibian Airways of new Zealand, becoming ZK-BAY. It was mainly used for flights from Invercargill to Stewart Island. It was taken over by Tourist Air Travel in Auckland in 1961, and continued with Mount Cook Airlines in 1968, before crashing and sinking in Auckland Harbor in 1970. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44A Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon N444M, c/n 1411. It was Built in 1945 and went to fly in Alaska as NC41980. In 1960 it was re-registered as N444M and flew in the Eastern US. In 1981 it flew to the UK, where it sank after landing on a reservoir. It was repaired in 1985 and painted in the paintscheme of this repaint. It operated from Biggin Hill until 1997, when it was flown back to the US. It is currently based in Florida. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44A Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1360 N17481, which was built in 1944. It was one of four widgeons offered to the U.S. Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service on the 28th of June,1950 by the U.S. Coast Guard. Widgeon 1360 started out its non-military life as N744 for the Department of U.S. Fish and Wildlife in 1950. It entered the civilian market in 1958 as N17481, and has been owned by Harvey Flying Service of Kodiak, Alaska since 1977. It is still airworthy and used regularly. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

| Grumman G44A Widgeon ZK-AVM Sea Bee Air |

This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44A Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1466 ZK-AVM in the colors of Sea Bee Air it wore in 1978. It was built in 1946 as a G-44A, but later converted to Super Widgeon. It was imported into Australia in 1947, flying for the Australasian Petroleum/Vacuum Oil Co in New Guinea as VH-AZO. AVM was imported into New Zealand in 1950 , flying for Amphibian Airways of Invercargill. It 1962, the company was acquired by Tourist Air Travel, which in turn was bought by Mt Cook Airlines in 1967. When Mt Cook decided to stop with amphibian operations in 1975, and a group of staff created Sea Bee Air, which shut down operations in 1989. ZK-AVM had been sold to Australia in 1987, becoming VH-WET, but came back to New Zealand in 1994, now flying for Salt Air. It is currently no longer airworthy, but its owner, Owen Hamish is reported to plan bringing it back into the air. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

| Stearman PT-17 N1944S |

This folder contains a repaint for the DC Designs Stearman PT-17 for MSFS2020, in the colors of PT-13D 42-177701 N1944S. Originally built in 1942 and used by the USAAF, this aircraft became N1944S in 1956 and flew in Colorado until 2006, when it was expoted to the Netherlands. It is still registered in the US as N1944S, but is now based on Texel airfield. In 2019 it received a new paintjob, to represent that way it looked when entering service with the USAAF in 1942, although the number 306 is based on the former squadron of one of the owners. This folder contains a repaint for the DC Designs Stearman 75C for MSFS2020, in the colors of NC67412, a Stearman PT-17 that is still airworthy with Waldo Wright's Flying Service, based in Polk City, Florida. This paint shows it in its old pre-restoration colors of around 2004. At present it is painted in a US Navy scheme.
