This Airbus A-320 aircraft is a repaint of the original one created by Mike Stone The repaint represents the Colombian airline Aces in its new livery colors, after it emerged with Avianca and Sam to form the new Summa Alliance. This is an all new model designed from scratch using GMAX. The model has fully animated parts including functional suspension and folding landing gear struts. This folder contains a repaint for the accu-sim version of the A2A B-17G Flying Fortress. It represents #42-97976 "A Bit o' Lace", which was assigned to the 709th BS /447th BG. The nose art consisted of a cartoon by Milton Caniff. The co-pilot was Lt. John Bauman, a fraternity brother of Milton Caniff. He sent Caniff a detailed idea of the proposed artwork and the sketch was returned with Caniff's annotation: "A Bit-O-Lace for Lt. John H. Bauman, and the rest of the gang, with my best wishes - Milton Caniff NY, Oct. 1944". Nicholas Fingelly, an artist attached to the 709th BS, carried out the work and completed the painting in about six hours and gave Milton Caniff full credit for his his character. Her first crew flew 35 missions over Europe with no injuries, although returning with a good many holes, at times. The closest call was when a piece of shrapnel came up through Navigator's table and "Ike" Eisenhart's arms, but missed him. A surprise souvenir for Ike, which he still has. She flew more missions with different crews, until the april 4, 1945 flight. From the navigator, John Kirkwood: "Right over Kiel, and seconds before the bomb release, I heard the co-pilot say that "This airplane feels funny." Seconds later the tail gunner, who had regained his power of speech, blurted out something to the effect that part of "The tail was gone." A flak shell had gone right through the left horizontal tail, leaving only a partial surface, and completely removing the left elevator.
We dropped out of the formation, and tried to drop the bombs, but the electrical system failed. We flew north a minute or so, the plane now in the hands of the pilot. The pilot did not want to drop over Denmark, so we turned out over sea, and dropped via screwdriver. Actually, we were over Schleswig-Holstein, according to my position, but it was close, and Tom did not want to chance killing danes.
We flew on, at a reduced speed, far out to sea on a west-south-west course with occasional ETA's to the pilot. Several fighters joined us, and finally we got back to the base, and the runway was cleared for us. A decision had to be made by the pilot: To jump or ride her in.. Tom decided that he could land the plane, so we all congregated to the radio room, and that was that.
I might add that none of us had any desire to jump. Most of the photos of 976 were taken after repairs, hence the dark colored rudder and left elevator. As you know, the color prior to the damage was silver. 976 flew one or two missions after that, but I never saw her again, other than in a color photo of the moth-balled fleet in Arizona."

BlackBox Simulations [BBS] Airbus Xtreme Series A330 V0.802 or above is required for this repaint. FSX/P3D ONLY. Airbus announced Delta Airlines as the launch customer of the increased weight, 242 tonne, A330-300 for more route
options as well as added passenger comfort. The new A330ceo is also the base of the A330neo but with the standard wings
and an upgraded General Electric GE CF6-80E1 engine option. Delta is the first of 12 customers to fly this increased
range A330. The plane can fly up to 6,100nm and has 2% less fuel consumption.
This repaint is part of FlightsimFX's HIGH DETAIL SERIES (HDS) which is essentially a study level repaint of select few
liveries. Enjoy more than 250 layers of custom texture additions/changes to the stock paintkit supplied!
BlackBox simulations has contributed to our community with the release of their advanced Airbus Aircraft series. As good
as the gauges and cockpit is, it is lacking greatly in the texture department.
I have taken initiative to fix their plastic looking, overall sub par, textures with my newer ones. There is a lot of work
that will still be added but as of now, I believe this is a stable amount of fixes to the BBS A330 Texture sets. I have
also included my "Optional BBS Common Texture Changes" folder if you are interested in the other work to make the BBS a
bit more realistic. Stay tuned for more enhancements.

A repaint of a great flight model, the AI-AARDVARK EMB-120 as a private or
Businessaircraft. There are an increasing number of these around... thisis just one
idea for a color scheme for one. I have not included a registration number.. that is
left up to you as to what number (based on where it is you want to fly it) and where
you want to place it.
Also.. in the complete model you will find a panel file ... the only item in that
file is a rear view in case you are like me and like panels that offer cockpit views..
I use a slightly modified panel that comes with the Project Fokker F100/70 series.
This rear view is of an executive interior, sadly I could not find an exact one for
the 120, however after comparing many interior shots, I have really found little
difference between the interiors of the EMB120 and the ERJ135...although I am sure
there are, at least visually they seem close. Close enough that I included a rear
view of an exec 135 i case you choose to "Gussy up" a 120 panel with a luxury
interior shot. To me, at least... the interior dimensions are close enough for
government work... hope you enjoy. ANy questions or comments.. please, would love to
hear from you as I am still new at this and am using only the standard Microsoft
paint program that comes with Windows... have never mastered the paint pro
programs... no matter how hard I tried.

Flight Simulator First Officer is a generic virtual copilot for FSX and FS9. The primary function of FSFO is to assist the Pilot In Command (PIC) to fly the aircraft safely while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This is accomplished via virtual checklist and sharing of cockpit duties/responsibilities. Specifically, the First Officer reads the following configurable checklist: Before Start, After Start, Before Takeoff, In-Range, After Landing and Shutdown. After reading the checklist items, the Copilot will wait to ensure you (i.e. the pilot) have configured the aircraft correctly before proceeding to the next item. Also, the Virtual copilot is capable of performing the following actions: Call Vspeeds based on your input, Raise the Landing Gear on Takeoff, Retract the Flaps, Manage the taxi/landing lights, Land the Aircraft, Tune the ILS frequencies, Call Climb Power based on your input, Reset Vertical Speed when the Aircraft is within 1000 ft of the programmed altitude, IAS warning (e.g. Aircraft is above 250 IAS while below 10000 ft), GS Warnings (e.g. Aircraft is above 25 knots while taxing), Resets the altimeter to standards when passing TA, Engage Heading Hold on Takeoff, Engage Altitude Hold on Takeoff, Reset Speed on Takeoff, Engage Speed Hold on Takeoff, Engages Rev Thrust on Landing, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) and much more...
