The SkySpirit team now presents our long awaited CRJ-1000, in American Eagle. This model is a continuation of the previous Project Opensky CRJ900 project. Built mainly for FS2004 (not fully tested in FSX, see our support at https://www.facebook.com/groups/366760436694515/), the CRJ1000 model features highly detailed and accurate exterior model, dynamic wing flex with XML coding, wing views, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent XML landing gear suspension, trim animation, highly realistic Opening Passenger Door L1 (integrated Airstair door) and opening forward and aft baggage holds (opened by the included POSKY Utility Panel), rolling wheels and extremely detailed animated landing gears with photorealistic textures, XML coded nose gear steering with steering lock at high rolling speed, animated thrust reversers, modeled built-in Lektro Pushback Tug (controlled by POSKY Utility Panel) and highly-detailed and accurate, 32bit day and night textures and realistic lighting effects. Aircraft painted by SkySpirit member Maurino Brown and Christopher Allen.

Retro AI flightplans and individual repaints for 78 aircraft of the Unites States Air Force 23 TFS, 81 TFS and 480 TFS of 52 TFW based at Spangdahlem [ETAD], Germany [version 2.0]. Two basic options included... Spangdahlem 1985: all three squadrons are equiped with F-4E and F-4G Phantoms all painted in "Euro1". Spangdahlem 1988: all three squadrons are equiped with F-16C/D Falcons and F-4G Phantoms of which most Phantoms are painted in "Euro1" and some of them in the grey "Hill" colour scheme. All the flightplans were individually tailored for the aircraft manually. This is to give a more realistic set of flightplans and is a massive update of Version 1.0 with retro destinations and additional flightplans added together with revised departure/arrival times. EZ Steam Train Objects Library. This set of objects will allow you to design your own Scenic Railroad to enhance scenery in FS2004. The library includes straight and curved track, right and left switches, a track end bumper and a turntable. Also included are two Steam Locomotives, touring rail cars, two styles of water towers, a boarding platform, a maintenance shed plus an assortment of signage and other objects needed to build your own railroad. This library was created by John McKeon at the request of David "Opa" Marshall for use in his Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad project (OCSR.zip - available here). Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions.

An EZ Object Library of the Helicopter Landing Trainer (HLT) by David Sreet. The model is based upon a real training vessel which is stationed at Pensacola Florida. This ship can be placed in your scenery using the EZ or Instant Scenery Object Placing programs. My thanks to Mr. Street for granting permission to compile and upload this library. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions. Note: The deck of this ship is not hardened so you cannot land a Helicopter on it. To harden the deck, please download - afc_hard.zip -. This is an Illustrated Tutorial which shows how to easily harden such surfaces using the Afcad program. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

FSX Mesh South America Project:
This terrain mesh file is a part of a whole project covering all the Continent of South America and some islands, divided in tiles identified in a map by its column (letters) and rows (numbers).
Those files were multi-LOD compiled from 90m SRTM2 source data, reprocessed with 3DEM to remove voids and spikes, providing a 76.4m (LOD9) horizontal resolution topography intended for use only in FSX updated with SP1.
Although not well documented, to improve performance, the updated FSX loads DEM files in threads and only the closer terrain (about 5 NM from the point of view) is rendered in high detail, while at far distances FSX shows up its default low resolution mesh, when there is not a third part terrain mesh compiled in all others intermediate level of details (multi-LOD).
