SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our brand new Airbus A320 Family CFM56 sound pack for FSX! This add-on features configurations for both CFM56-5A and CFM56-5B sounds, along with three interior POV options such as cockpit, front cabin, and rear cabin. The read me provided in the zip file will direct you to what version to use for which airplane. FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. The A320 aircraft family's famous Pneumatic Transfer Unit 'barking' noise has been implemented in the start up sound, gear up sound, and engine shut down sound. Along with these features, SkyHigh Audio Simulations' usual touches have been added such as using audio recordings only from A320 CFM aircraft as source files to provide a fully authentic sound experience for the simmer. | DC-3/C-47 Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Sound Set |

File Description:
This is a scratch built full 3D sound set for Manfred Jahn & Team's wonderful C-47 Skytrain package. While flying the C-47 in the sim I felt there was some room left to improve the engine sounds. And what started as messing around with parameters ended up in me composing an entirely new sound set starring the Pratt & Whitney R-1830.
The sound set attempts to push the boundaries of what is possible in FSX/P3D. If you fly the C-47 in a realistic manner, this sound set will provide a realistic sound environment. No less than 17 samples are used per engine in order to recreate the external sound environment (everything 44,1KHz high quality audio) while making extensive use of sound cones to cover all the angles. In fact this sound set uses source material from 4 real life C-47As.
All of the aforementioned results in a "study level" sound set that hopes to do justice to the real thing.

This sound pack is designed to work with Historic Jetliners Group's Douglas DC-8-63 model. There are two versions of this sound pack, one interior point of view from the cockpit, and the other being the passenger cabin POV in front of the engines. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Also using the cone technology, realistic distant taxi howling and distant rumbling sounds are included. The plane could be heard loud and clear from up to 2km away in tower view! Realistic start up sounds featuring external air cart compressor howling noises are included. FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. Features include propwash sound effects from immediately behind the propeller, realistic radial engine start-up sounds, and a very realistic sounding fly-by!
