File Description:
YGIG RAAF Gingin is a small airfield at Gingin, Western Australia (with an enormous runway) owned by the Royal Australian Air Force and used for pilot training. It is located approximately 40 km north of RAAF Base Pearce, which also administers the airfield. There are no Air Force personnel based at Gingin. It is also used by the Pearce Aero Club, which keeps some aircraft there. Out of respect to the conditions of the club, no photographs were used in the making of this airfield. | YBLT - Ballarat Aerodrome - Victoria, Australia |

File Description:
YBLT (Ballarat Aerodrome) is a regional 'airport' in the central west of the State of Victoria, Australia and utilises infrastructure from the days of RAAF operations which lasted till the early 1960's. Thus the buildings are now a bit outdated but this file does not reflect that as I have not done any custom texturing so everything in this package tends to look a bit new and crispy.
Note the name of this 'airport'. The locals are adamant it is an aerodrome, not an airport. I have not found any freeware or commercial offerings for an alternative to the default and so I have put one together.
This is a reasonable approximation of the airport /aerodrome but is not entirely accurate as the hangars/buildings I have modelled myself are generic ones I have done and do not look exactly like the ones at that facility. The connecting road is not in true alignment as I have created it so as it blends into the surrounding default scenery.

| YCVM Caversham RAAF Base, Western Australia (Closed 1942) |

File Description:
YCVM Caversham (Closed 1942) - the last remains of this site as it looked in 2010. If you had permission to land, runway 05 - 23 would still be accessible for a light aircraft and an ultralight could still land on what is left of the others. Sadly, this historic site is destined to become a housing estate so this is my attempt to preserve it. As with most military sites, there is a shortage of images so I would appreciate any help to make it more accurate for the period rather than what currently remains. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

This all new version has been specifically created to fit with the Default FSX airport layout, as I'm currently unable to edit the AFD to make it more realistic!!
Version 5.0 contains all new buildings and textures including full night textures. The buildings have been produced in-line with the FSX SDK using Blender and Gmax. This scenery will only work with FSX.
Thanks go to Peter Leadbeater for testing the scenery prior to release (and for the ever present windsock!).
Special thanks also go to Dave Graham and the rest of the guys at North West Air News without whose photo's and information none of my scenery would exist!
