Lismore Regional Airport

File Description:
LIsmore Regional Airport for FSX (YLIS) This is an updated version of the original FS9 scenery. Lismore airport, situated in northern NSW close to Byron Bay and Ballina, operates 52 weekly flights on Rex airlines to Sydney and has a large maintenance facility and a number of GA hangers. The terminalis modernistic in design and has a display of Aboriginal artwork. This scenery includes land class and water class and a photobackground blended to the normal textures. All buildings are modelled with photo textures taken at the airport and accurate to real life measurement and placement. John Ross

Purdown Transmitter

Purdown BT Tower was built in 1970 and is located on a hill (Purdown) just north of the city centre of Bristol, in the Lockleaze suburb, UK (National Grid Reference: ST610764) Lat N51 29.05 Lon W2 33.88. It is one of twelve reinforced concrete towers owned by BT in the UK. It is used mainly for point-to-point microwave links and forms part of the British Telecom microwave network. Grafton District Airport (YGFN)

File Description:
A delighful small airport approximately 80 nautical miles from Coffs Harbour and a slightly shorter distance to Ballina and Lismore. This makes a good stopover for hopping down the east coast of Australia. The size of the airport has allowed me to put in that extra detail which makes to terminal and surrounds very much "as in real life". Photographic textures are used for the background blended into the Winter and Spring seasons.
