File Description:
Hawes Aerial Operations Facility is a reimagined version of an abandoned World War II auxiliary airstrip formerly known as Hawes AAF Aux #1. It was built in the mojave desert, just east of Edwards AFB (then Muroc AAF) during WWII as one of 4 satellite fields for Victorville AAF. After the war, Hawes as used as a private civilian airfield until it's closure in the early 1960's. It is now reborn in FSX as a UAV base by Nevada Systems. Due to it's location in the Mojave desert and the presence of many thermals in FSX, it was also used in production of the Aeroworks ARX-1 civilian glider concept. This scenery uses many custom macros as well as default macros from the Acceleration Expansion Pack, which is required for best performance. Scenery and custom macros by Joshua B. Nyhus and Jason L. FSX Scenery - Range Regional Airport (IATA: HIB, ICAO: KHIB, FAA LID: HIB) is a public use airport located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) southeast of the central business district of Hibbing, in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, United States. It was formerly known as Chisholm-Hibbing Airport or Chisholm-Hibbing Municipal Airport. The airport is mostly used for general aviation but is also served by one commercial and one charter airline. FSX Scenery - The Knoxville Municipal Airport, (KOXV) renamed Jim Bellamy Field, serves the greater Knoxville community and the surrounding areas of Marion County, Iowa. The airport is comprised of 120 acres, and is located at the southern edge of Knoxville, adjacent to the Highway 14 & Highway 5/92 interchange. The 4,000 foot (by 75 foot) single runway is constructed of concrete, with parallel taxiway. The facility is at an elevation of 928 feet at a distance of about 2 miles from Knoxville. Navy Joe Williams OLF is located in Meridian, MS and is approx 20 nm NW of Naval Air Station Meridian. Meridian NAS is home to Training Wing 1. TW-1 is comprised of VT-7 "Eagles" and VT-9 "Tigers" both flying the T-45C Goshawk. KNJW is used as an outlying field in order to take the traffic load away from NAS Meridian during periods of high density student training. This is the perfect place to practice your Field Carrier Landing Practice procedures as well as overhead approaches and emergency approach practice just like real student naval aviators!

This is a update version of my scenery DL_CVN75.zip.
Changes in Version 2 of the cenery:
1.The Carrier model is now a private object and no longer part of the standard FSX object lib..
This allows the installation and registration in FSX scenery setting to be done like any
other addon objects.
The registration of the scenery in FSX below " Global, Generic & Vehicle Libraries" is no
longer required !!!!
2.Version 2 has more stuff on deck of the carrier.
3.The Number 75 is more accurate according to the real carrier.
4.The ILS frequencies ( e.g. GS) is more accurat adjusted in relation to the cable zone.
Scenery: Carrier Group North sea. Close to the Island of Sylt The Scenery includes: - The USS Carrier Harry Truman, CVN 75 with full function as an Airport with ILS approach capability.
F18-Fighters and a Navy-Heli on the Carrier. - 2 flying Helicopters over the Carrier. - 4 Navy-Destroyers escorting the Carrier. In addition to the Carrier-Group: - A Oilrig about 30 nm northwest from the Carrier. The Heli-Pat is a landable Platform !! - 2 moving Destroyer based on a "Boats Traffic Plan" which are moving around the group according to the time schedule in the plan.

This airport update is made only for FSX with two optional files, one version with the Crosswind runways activated and in full operation where all three runways will be used for takeoff and landing and one version as the default runway operation: airlines assigned to their correct terminals, taxiways and taxi signs now updated to the latest charts, runways 3/21 and 8/26 now at their new lengths, ILS added to 8 and 21, PAPI corrected for all runways, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt, fire station and many other scenery objects added, airport views are from inside the new control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.
