YRDY Reedy's Gold Mine, Western Australia

File Description:
YRDY Reedy's Mine open cut was closed in 1997 but further exploration drilling is under way. Reedy is an abandoned town in the Murchison region of Western Australia. The town is located between Cue and Meekatharra in the Mid West region of Western Australia. Gold was discovered in the area by H Reed in 1899-1900 and a nearby well, Reedy's Well, was named after him. The well appeared on maps of the area in 1908 as a known water source. Further gold discoveries were made in the 1930s and sveral mines were developed. By 1933 the Cue-Day Dawn road board petitioned for a townsite to be surveyed and declared. Suggestions for the name of the town included Triton, Mathers and Reedy. The town was gazetted in 1934. If you fly over, you will note that the airstrip runs down the main streets of the old town. YTTI Troughton Island, Western Australia

File Description:
YTTI Troughton Island - ShoreAir operates Troughton Island airstrip as an alternate to Mungalalu-Truscott. It has a 980m x 30m unsealed runway. Troughton Island sits 6 metres above sea level on a natural reef. Troughton is managed by two people who spend one month at a time on the island. During that time they are almost completely isolated from the outside world. Although they are isolated they are not alone; previous occupants of the island brought in quails and children's pythons that were once pets that escaped their cages during a cyclone. Now there is a healthy population of snakes living off the quails. Today Troughton Island is maintained as an emergency landing area for aircraft that are unable to reach Truscott. It also serves as a landing area if Truscott is inaccessible due to weather conditions. The Bureau of Meteorology has a weather station on Troughton island. Mungalalu-Truscott aerodrome supports all the FPSO (floating production storage and offloading facility) operations in the WA and NT waters of the Timor Sea, while the alternate aerodrome at Troughton Island is 20 nautical miles north of the main air route to Timor Sea facilities. File Description:
Added aprons, stock buildings, additional parking and custom buildings. Created with Airport Design Editor 9x by ScruffyDuck Software using current FAA documentation and Google Earth measurements, this package offers a replacement for FSX's stock airport. Custom buildins were made with Sketchup. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects.

File Description:
This is a corrected airfield layout of D52 in Geneseo NY, I have flown there in the real world and was very disappointed in how incorrect the FSX version was placed, and it looked nothing like the real D52!, so I decided to make it all better!. I used photo scenery and ADEX to correct placement of the field (off by quite a bit!), placed the trees where they should be, "close" at both ends of the runway! Its those trees that make D52 so fun to fly in and out of!. So I hope you find this as fun a field as I have!. "THIS IS VERSION 2 W/AFCAD & PHOTO" In my first attempt at an AVSIM upload I left out the AFCAD file! If you had already downloaded my previous version then please download this fixed one!.
