| BGGH Airport - Nuuk, Greenland |
|
File Description:
This is my rendition of the airport in Nuuk, Greenland (BGGH) as it existed around 2018/19. They are in the middle of a major renovation of this airport so that it will be able to handle large commercial airliners. I searched the internet extensively for any images I could find to help make a reasonably accurate rendition of this airport. I used Google Earth, Google Maps street view and Google images to draw and place taxiways, aprons and create the terminal, buildings and hangars from scratch.

| RAF Catterick |
|
File Description:
RAF Catterick is located alongside the A1 on the outskirts of Catterick Village. Operationally it falls under the command of Catterick Garrison. It currently houses 5th Regiment Royal Artillery and 32 Engineer Regiment.
Catterick airfield first opened in 1914 as a Royal Flying Corps aerodrome with the role of training pilots and to assist in the defence of the North East of England. It came under RAF administration in 1918 and housed Number 49 Training Depot.
In 1927, it temporarily came under the administration of the British Army, under the Army Air Co-Operation Command which would supply the army with any air support needs that would be required. This continued until 1939 when the station was handed back to the RAF.
During the Second World War, the airfield operated a small satellite station called RAF Scorton near the village of Scorton.
Catterick's runway could not be extended from its existing 3,350 ft (1,020 m) for the jet age due to the perimeter being bounded by the Great North Road (A1) and the River Swale. Therefore, Catterick's importance declined after the Second World War, though it still housed training institutes for many years.

| RAF Scorton |
|
File Description:
RAF Scorton was opened in October 1939 as part of 13 Group Fighter Command and a satellite station of RAF Catterick. It was located near the village of Scorton in North Yorkshire. It was used by the Royal Air Force, the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the United States Army Air Forces Ninth Air Force during the war.
The location was chosen for its flat terrain and its situation close to the now disbanded Eryholme-Richmond branch line that had a sub branch line to Catterick Garrison and RAF Catterick.
The famous No. 56 Squadron RAF flew Spitfires from Scorton during the Second World War. Also the USAAF 422d and 425th Night Fighter Squadrons were stationed at Scorton flying the Northrup P-61 "Black Widow" fighter.
The Aerodrome closed in 1945 and most of the concreted areas have been extensively quarried away for sand and gravel extraction. Most of what was the airfield is now under a lake or a quarry. There are a few military pre-fab buildings remaining in the area – they were dismantled after the war and moved to local farms to be used as agricultural buildings.

| The Hawaiian Islands - Kauai, Part 1 of 5 |
|
File Description:
The complete scenery package is 446MB in size. In order to accommodate AvSim's file size requirement, this scenery has been broken into five smaller files. However, all five files -- Hawaii-Kauai-RS-01.zip through Hawaii-Kauai-RS-05.zip -- are necessary for this scenery to work properly. My apologies in advance for the added complexity this involves. "Hawaii-Kauai-RS-01" includes a ReadMe with detailed instructions on how to install this scenery.
Kauai itself is the fourth largest of the main Hawaiian Islands. Also known as the "Garden Isle" due to it's lush tropical foliage, it is located about 105 miles (170 kilometers) west of Oahu and just to the east of tiny Niihau. The east side of Mount Wai'ale'ale is considered to be one of the wettest spots on earth receiving an average annual rainfall of 460 inches (1,200 cm). All that water has carved out deep valleys in the central mountains, the most scenic of which is Waimea Canyon, often referred to as "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific". From shoreline cliffs to mountainous heights, to pristine beaches, enjoy exploring this picture postcard perfect landscape.

| ENHV - Honningsvag-Valan - Honningsvag, Norway |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
ENHV is the most northern airport in Europe (self-promotion of the airport). It it situated on a promontory 46 feet above the sea a few miles southeast of the Nordkap.
This scenery is not a stand-alone-scenery. It is an update of the Airports of Norway (AoN) where ENHV is already included. So AoN has to be installed first to see the buildings and the objects on this airport.
In addition the Nordkap is included with the rock, the museum and the viewing point.
AON you can download here:
http://www.flightsimnorway.com/addons/default.php?funct=dl&pack=aon
Also recommended is to install are the corresponding Photo sceneries AoN Phatopack 1 + 2:
http://www.flightsimnorway.com/addons/default.php?funct=dl&pack=aon
There are some errors corrected In ENHV that occur in the AoN:
1. The altitude is adjusted to the correct height of 46 feet.
2. The sea is where it should be.
3. The land classes are partially adjusted.
4. The town of Honningsvag is involved.
5. The Northern Cape is included, but can be installed separately.

| Active ILS, VHHX (Hong Kong Kai Tak Airport) |
|
File Description:
This FSX Airport is more then just an enhanced style Airport. As most know the Approach and Final (VMC) for AI Traffic in FSX is a straight in type landing and does not always consider real world approaches. This is due to the way that the coding is written in FSX and it puts limits on IFR arriving aircraft. At certain airports the AI Traffic will fly directly through a mountain once it is established on Final for a runway. What you will see with my files is a different type approach used for both the way I control AI and User Airplane Traffic in FSX. My AI Aircraft Approach coding system for FSX uses a visual offset approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains but flys the IGS/LDA 13 approach to the Checkerboard. Try your skill flying a Large Heavy Airplane vectored by ATC onto the approach course of the IGS/LDA 13 approach to Kai Tak. Read the text file for all the enhancements added to the FSX VHHX Airport along with a full understanding of how the new Approaches work *** Full set of Freeware Approach Charts included ***

DUE TO AVSIM'S 500MB LIMITATION YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD LGLM SCENERY IN TWO FILES. THE lglm Limnos airport_Installation folder_1 AND THE PRESENT lglm Limnos airport_Installation folder_2.

Lemnos (or Limnos) is a Greek island, since ancient times, with a pure Greek population. Due to the old volcanic activity, it was considered as the island of Hephaestus, the god of Fire. According to mythology, Zeus in a dispute with Hera threw his son Hephaestus from Olympus to the land of Lemnos. Hephaestus set up his workshop there and taught the art of metallurgy to the inhabitants of the island. The lglm Limnos airport scenery was made over a period of 5 years and includes multiple moving parts, such as AI vehicles, moving people, night effects, air and sea traffic. Google earth was widely used for the 3D representation and the depiction of reality contains many fantastic additions to the airport and the surrounding area. An atmospheric scenery was created to provide a realistic flying experience in FSX. You can also find a video of scenery capabilities in youtube: https://youtu.be/y8q0dL5wb3Q
