File Description:
This was made using Airport Facilitator X and Instant Scenery and is scenery for Lake Union. Lake Union is located in Seattle, Washington. I also made scenery for Kenmore air Harbor (W55) which is a seaplane base that is also located on Lake Union. I added two water planes at the dock and also made several more docks with boats. This was based off of satellite imagery. Please read the read me for instructions on how to install. This is for Flight Simulator X only. By Tyler Lawrence

A real airport on the Atlantic Coast in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area with a grass airstrip.
-Features: I added a small Tower with comms, tidied up parking, taxiways, and for the 'difficult-to-taxi' tail-draggers, a circular taxiway to the Primary Runway, 9.
-Three freeware airplanes are included, Aeronca Chief, Boeing Stearman, and Beechcraft D18.
-Two Acceleration Pack aircraft, the P51 Racer #2, and the Grumman Goose are written into the Traffic file, so if you have Acceleration installed, they will also appear at the Aerodrome.

YMDN Merredin Town and Airfield - includes townsite landclass. Merredin, a town better known for its wheat and sheep exports. But for almost a decade, it's where one of Asia's busiest carriers, China Southern Airlines, has been sending its trainee pilots to learn how to fly. "They come from a country with a population of more than a billion people. Right now they live in Merredin - population, depending on who's visiting, around 2,000. For nine years now, they and hundreds like them have travelled to WA's empty, sprawling Wheatbelt to learn how to fly. The middle of the Wheatbelt is not the first place you'd look for the future of Chinese commercial aviation. But before these fledgling flyers can spread their wings with China's largest airline, they must pass six months of boot camp in Merredin. Most of them are from China's southern provinces. Their backgrounds are varied. For many of them, it's the first time that they've operated some form of machinery, which includes those students that haven't even had an exposure to driving a motor car. It's early days in their careers. The students are putting in the groundwork. First, mastering the art of piloting single-engine two-seater planes. It's all preparation for the Boeings and airbuses they'll eventually be flying on major international routes. The pressure is intense. Every aspect of the student's progress is measured. Failure can have serious implications for their hopes of becoming commercial pilots. It's part theory and part practical. But flying isn't the only thing that these young men have to get used to in Merredin. For one, there's the incredibly slow pace of country life. This is a version for FSX of the Merrill Field made by Roger Wensley (me) for FS9, converted by John B Loney jnr. "PAMR read this first" explains this but I have modified John's original procedure, and instead of first installing the Merrill Field original plus two updates I have included here the current FS9 version as installed on my computer. Note that to see the apron lighting working in FS9 it was necessary to have Sidney Schwartz's light library installed, along with his updated textures (to avoid severe blurries caused by a faulty texture). The original installation instructions are included giving file library priorities etc. Just ignore the bits that do not apply, such as installing AI that is not included. I have of course omitted the original AI as this is replaced by John's version. I have no comment to make on installing in FSX as I have not done so, and I have not tested it in FSX. If you have comments or questions I will respond as much as I am able. Merrill Field is in Anchorage Alaska, between Anchorage International to the southwest and and Elmendorf Air Force Base to the north. It caters for general aviation and is the land equivalent of the Lake Hood float plane base, with fuel and numerous maintenance facilities, and several hundred parking spots for small planes. There are three runways, and the longest is 4,000 feet of 100 feet wide asphalt, the second 2,635 feet of asphalt 75 feet wide, and the third 2,000 feet of 60 feet wide gravel. The first two have runway lights. It is a controlled airfield with a relatively new control tower to cater for the numerous flights and to coordinate with Elmensdorf and Anchorage International, the latter also controlling flights from Lake Hood and the adjacent gravel strip Z41. (See my Lake Hood scenery). The gravel runway at Merrill Field is not connected with active taxiways to the rest of the airfield; this avoids you being ordered to land on it when flying a plane too large to do so.

A fictitous USCG helo base located east of Palmer Municipal airport in Alaska. The scenery has a water runway, float plane dock, a repair area with a usable ramp up to a dry dock and repair hanger. Added two new bridges, two cargo docks, 9 helipads with one as a start point and many other additions to enhance your FS world. Test your skills as you fly in and taxi up to the ramp, then up to the dry dock without over shooting it and ending in the repair hanger. Lots of candies on the base for your flying pleasure. | New Garden (N57) Airshow Scenery |

File Description:
New Garden Airport annually holds their Airshow at New Garden Flying Field (N57) and shows off many different aerobatic aviation displays, static displays, and a car show. Usually, this show is held by David Schultz Airshows LLC
(schultzairshows.com). There isn't much at the show for aviation except for hotrods and other kinds of cars that may run fast. This scenery includes Tents, Porta Pots, two Cubs, a glider, and an outstanding crowd! There is also a school bus I added in as well. In the future I will be making different kinds of scenery, including stuff as new airports as well.

| RCGM Taoyuan Air Base, Taiwan |

File Description:
This is an improvement of the default RCGM Taoyuan Air Base in Northern Taiwan. RCGM was the home base of several ROC Air Force units, including the 35th "Black Cat" Squadron that flew deep penetration missions into China using U-2. The base was turned over to the ROC Navy in 2007 and now serves as the home for fixed-wing ASW aircraft. Satellite imagery available online were used to reposition taxiways, add and resize aprons, and add civilian gates and military aircraft parking. Prominent buildings were represented using stock library objects. Created using Airport Design Editor 1.39b by Mike Huang.

Presenting PATA, Ralph Calhoun Memorial Airport. This is very close to Tanana, Alaska. This scenery is easy on frame rates. We now have here an Inuit fishing village, small terminal (look through the glass in front and to the left- my grandson!), train station, long train, street lamps at night with visible lights shinning to the ground, shipping and receiving building, Cafe, first aid center, fire station, both with trucks, refueling area that works. Readme file has the slider settings I use but these settings are not manidtory. Contact info in readme file. Navaids are stated and are stock. Bob

File Description:
This rendition of the Hope Airfield was compiled by referring to number of photographs and satellite images and driving by the airstrip a couple of times. This scenery is for the FSX Deluxe addition with no additional addon scenery for this airport loaded.
Nearly all objects are library objects from FSX Deluxe.
I have added the the small farms and acreages that exist in real life north of the airfield. Hope has the longest grass runway in Canada. It also is home of the Vancouver Soaring Association. It’s a busy little airfield when the thermals are good.
