This is a better than default, re-creation of Alderney Airport located on the Island of Alderney in the Channel Islands.
All Runways, taxiways and buildings have been placed accurately using satellite imagery and up-to date charts.
This scenery requires 'Jim Dhaenens' lightobj.bgl for the apron lights.

Created with Aerosoft's StavangerX, however should be ok with default scenery as well.

It has been brought to my attention that the IGS 13 Localizer is set to 111.95 in my original upload of the Active ILS, VHHX (Hong Kong Kai Tak Airport) for FSX. This is not the correct frequency. The correct frequency is 111.90. This update fixes that problem.

Adjusted scenery for FSX
Uploaded to AVSIM only.
1 rearranged gates and parking spots (as seen on pictures)
(Small disadvantage is that FS places a Pushback car at the end, may be changed in an other version)
2 birds SW and NW of the runway and high flying Eagles in the mountains left and right of the airport.
3 an NDB transmitter where the NDB is south of the runway.
4 rearranged buildings at the airport and some privat planes on the parkings
5 An MD83 on the apron.
6 small (if any) impact on frame rates.
Overall: a more lively LFLB, Aix Les Bains in the French Alps
Have fun and have many good flights in 2009!

File Description:
This is an upgrade of the previous release of FABW. Because of its strategically geographical important position, this small Airport is becoming more popular, especially with pilots of smaller aircraft. As a stopover, refuelling point between Cape and the Northern Provinces, East and West, its popularity is growing by the day. The airport Manager and his wife who offers B&B as well as a beautiful night out at "the gateway to the Karoo" as they call it, see to a splendid and enjoyable open and star filled overnight for those who care to call. Runway lights are also available. Please install fsxWorx01.zip, and the updates before this scenery.
