FSX World Explorer Charles Darwin

File Description:
On 27th of December, 1831 Charles Robert Darwin sailed from Devonport, England for a five-year voyage around the world on HMS Beagle and returned almost five years later on 2nd of October 1836. On 27th of December 1941 our journey begins in Devonport, near Plymouth in the Imperial Airways' Short S30 LR "Cabot" flying boat to follow this example. Since Charles Darwin also made many in-land journeys on the South-american and Australian continents, a flying boat would not be practical; instead we use the FSX default DC-3 for our continental flights. Intermediate helicopter mission. A helicopter transport company located at UHPX Nikolskoe airport provides supply services. Today's flight is to the remote island of Ostrov Mednyy about 55 nm southeast. The weather is CAVU and the winds are light. The flight takes about 30 minutes one way. The airport at UHP1 is just a small helipad for supplies.
