The Lewis and Clark Expedition from May 1804 to September 1806, also known as the Corps of Discovery Expedition, was the first American expedition to cross the western portion of the United States. The Corps of Discovery was a selected group of US Army volunteers under the command of Captain Meriwether Lewis and his close friend Second Lieutenant William Clark. President Thomas Jefferson commissioned the expedition shortly after the Louisiana Purchase in 1803

Abel Janszoon Tasman (1603 – 10 October 1659) was a Dutch seafarer, explorer, and merchant, best known for his voyages of 1642 and 1644 in the service of the Dutch East India Company (VOC). He was the first known European explorer to reach the islands of Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) and New Zealand, and to sight the Fiji islands. Download and install the beautiful Consolidated_PBY5A_Catalina.zip (Original aircraft design by C Edwards, ECU gauge by H Pralle, Adaptation for FSX and panel by Philippe Wallaert) and the mighty Dornier Do-24 (Original aircraft design by W.Regeer, FSX conversion by Erwin Welker; files do24vc-fsx.zip + do24vc-fixv2.zip).

Dragoon Landings in Southern France

File Description: After Overlord the IX Troop Carrier Command send its aircraft to Italy. The southern France landing have been prepared since January 1944 but postponed due to the lack of aircraft. Finally it took place on 15th August 1944 and the Rugby Force could be delivered. 0030, 14th August, Marcigliana Airfield, the first Pathfinders took off. It's your turn to fly towards France. For each Troop Carrier Wing you have the provisional airfield, the .pln file and the flight route log.

Overlord airborne flights

File Description: In order to secure the Neptune assault, 101st and 82nd airborne division will be dropped on the Cotentin. The IXth Troop Carrier Command use C47, Waco and Horsa tugs to deliver them. We are the 5th June 1944. Prepare the landing zones with the 1st Pathfinder Group. Follow the routes of the 50th, 52nd and 53rd TCW planes. Have good flights and beware of the flak.
