Peaslees Airstrip Airport (NJ25), New Jersey Download

File Description:
Located 01 miles SW of Clarksboro, New Jersey on 8 acres of land, Peaslees Airstrip is a private turf field 2207' in length. The hard surface runway has been removed to allow for landings on terrain, so have your terrain mesh set as high as possible. The surrounding area of rural farmland and houses has been filled in to provide an encompassing ground environment with as few breaks to the horizon as possible. There are no services at this airport - if you arrive there is room past the hangar to park and tie down although no tie downs are available in real life, thus you can only start from this airport on the runway. The windsock is located approximately midfield of the runway, as in real life. A second hangar has been constructed nearby the current one, but MSE textures do not reflect this and it was not included. This airport is not lit and daytime VFR operations only are recommended. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Warren Grove Range Airport (NJ24), New Jersey Download

File Description:
Located 03 miles SW of Burlington County, New Jersey, Warren Grove Range is a private concrete airfield 1800' in length. It is owned by the Department of Defense and exists in a restricted flight area. The bare sand of this area has washed out the satellite images tremendously from over-exposure thanks to reflected sunlight - you can't even make out the runway (which FSX places incorrectly over a mile away). Due to lack of ground definition and primary use as a military facility, this airport has not been developed by MSEAirports and the concrete runway has been removed. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 003. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Long Beach Airport Updated Download

File Description:
This file contains the updated Long Beach Airport ( upto 6/30/11 ) Runway 25L now has a threshold, 34R does as well. Runway 30 has been resized to the current size in the FAA Facility's Directory. This was the first airport I have updated and would love feedback to my email: [email protected]. This is an awesome airport with rich history and I would recommend anyone flying into the LA area to check it out. Also where I have done my flight training.

Linden Airport (KLDJ), NJ v1.1 Download

File Description:
Located 01 miles SE of Linden, New Jersey on 188 acres of land, Linden Airport is a public asphalt strip 4137' in length. Numerous changes have been made to this airport to bring it closer to its real-life counterpart including proper non-precision runway markings for R09 while only basic markings are used for R27; The 4-box VASI has been accurately located; the traffic pattern height has been adjusted; All 130 tiedown locations have been accurately placed. RAMP_GA spots are taken by static aircraft (all of which have collision disabled) so they should not be selected unless you want to start inside another aircraft! RAMP_GA_SMALL spots can be occupied by aircraft with wingspans up to 40 feet and RAMP_GA_MEDIUM spots can be occupied by aircraft with wingspans up to 60 feet. There are 4 open hangars labeled as GA_DOCK. The main hangar (NW Parking) can hold aircraft with wingspans up to 60 feet. The three smaller hangars (SW Parking) can hold aircraft with wingspans up to 35 feet. The W Helipad start location will put you in front of the smaller main tarmac hangar within the coned-off section. Fuel is only available by taxiing to a stop in front of either fuel tank to the west of the main tarmac. No AI aircraft will spawn in the SW Parking area. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Greenwood Lake Airport (4N1), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 01 miles E of West Milford, New Jersey on 150 acres of land, Greenwood Lake Airport is a public asphalt strip that services small to medium GA air traffic. The second runway that used to be there has been re-paved and now serves as extra aircraft parking. You can park anywhere on the closed runway, along the edge of the main tarmac where the terminal building is, or between any two white cones (50 foot max wingspan) that mark tie-down locations in the middle of the main tarmac. A helicopter start is provided as well. For parking, Small GA spaces are for craft with wingspans of less than 50 feet; Medium GA spaces are for craft with wingspans from 50-60 feet. The glide slope for Runway 24 has been adjusted up from 3.5 degrees to 4 degrees as in real life the runway sits higher than the ground the trees grow from so this will give you proper clearance on approach. Fuel is available by stopping near the tank on the main tarmac.

Ekdahl Airport (NJ59), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 04 miles S of Freehold, New Jersey, Ekdahl Airport is a private turf strip 1300' in length bordered closely by trees. This makes for an interesting landing as the 90' width of the runway is all the room you have to play with. However because it can be difficult to gauge your distance to trees and also because even the slightest brush with a tree can cause a crash, all trees immediately adjacent to the runway have crash disabled - mainly so you can turn your plane around if you land on Runway 02. The hard surface runway was removed so make sure your terrain mesh complexity is set as high as possible to get that bumpy ground realism. A windsock is listed as being available on this field but I could not locate it in any imagery and so placed it by default near the hangar building. You can start on the runways or parked in front of the hangar. Make sure your plane is capable of these take off and landing distances! Tree height around the field was not listed so I again used my best judgement from studying aerial photos. There is no fuel or parking for transient aircraft available. The field is not lit - daytime VFR operations only are recommended. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 002. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Malone Airport (NJ61), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 02 miles E of Frenchtown, New Jersey on 45 acres of land, Malone is a private airport with two turf strips, the longest of which is 2400' in length. There are no services offered, although there is room next to the existing planes to park if you wish - collisions are disabled with the aircraft. Both runways have their hard surfaces removed so turn your mesh settings as high as possible. Both runways slope down from the hangar/house area. Airport is unlit and daytime VFR operations only are recommended.

Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 007. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Peters Airport (4NJ8), NJ v1.1 Download

File Description:
Located 05 miles W of Somerville, New Jersey on 70 acres of land, Peters Airport is a private turf strip that will test your short field skills to the max. The published runway dimensions for this strip are 1700x200 feet, and for the most case this is fairly accurate - however at the ends of both runways you have tree obstacles to overcome so this can shorten the amount of usable runway significantly, although the tree obstacles are no higher than 12-14m. There is no hardened runway surface so you will be landing/taking off on terrain. Depending on how high your mesh resolution is, this can be a significant factor, as Runway 31 is mainly uphill enough that you will need to power up with parking brakes on if you want to make it in the air. Runway 13 is the best since you are going downhill and the trees at the end are fewer and smaller. Pay close attention to the pattern! Runway 13 is Left and Runway 31 is Right - this airport is within 2 miles of Solberg-Hunterdon (N51) and you don't want to get in the way of that field's traffic! The runway is not lit, so daytime VFR operations only. There are no services at this strip for transient aircraft.

Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 001. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Somerset Airport (KSMQ), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 03 miles N of Somerville, New Jersey on 210 acres of land, Somerset is a public airport with one asphalt and two grass runways, the longest of which is 2733' in length. The turf runways have no hard surfaces and you will be landing on terrain so have your mesh set as high as possible - both runways are still selectable in the ATC window for landing/takeoff announcements. AI aircraft will not use them. The helipad is a start location in front of the main terminal if a parking location is not wanted to begin helicopter flights. Parking is divvied up into three categories - GA_SMALL spots will accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 40 feet. GA_MEDIUM spots will accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet. GA_LARGE spots are named to identify locations suitable for starting in a glider if you wish to do so. They can also accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet. In addition to tie downs, there are 13 hangars open for parking in various locations - they can be identified by GA_DOCK. Only the N Parking hangar can accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet - all other hangers are suitable only for aircraft with wingspans no greater than 40 feet. Several of the hangars have attendants - look beside the doors for the NAV2 frequency to set for opening them. AI aircraft will only spawn on the north tarmac/hangars (largely to prevent AI traffic crossing the runway on taxi). All objects and static aircraft in the immediate vicinity of parking and taxiways have collision disabled. If your aircraft has a wingspan greater than 40 feet it is NOT recommended that you taxi down the middle taxiway leading to the main tarmac from N Parking as you will not clear the hangars - go either via the NW taxiway past the grass tie downs (NW Parking) or around East to the next taxi way on the other side of the east hangars (E Parking) which has more wing clearance. Fuel is available on both tarmacs north and south of the runway by stopping on the asphalt in front of the tanks/pump.

LFRV Meucon-Vannes Download

File Description:
Vannes-Meucon Airport is a regional airport in France (IATA: VNE, ICAO: LFRV). It supports general aviation with no commercial airline service scheduled. Summary of Changes: Realigned runway 9/27 to runway 8/26 (as it is in real life). Note that in FSX although this runway is not closed, ATC will never assign this runway, as it is a grass strip, and ATC prefers the asphalt 4/22 instead. IRL 4/22 is actually 3/21 but I couldn't realign this runway, as it has a localiser approach which can't be removed or moved in ADE Added taxiways B+D to allow traffic to taxi to/from the end of runway 22 via runway 8/26 without causing pileups. Whilst not completely accurate, its very close. Added fuel trucks to top end of apron, (on the charts this area is designated as a hangar, I chose not to include this, as the FSX hangars look rubbish) Note that only 1 fuel truck moves at a time. Added a few extra parking spaces. I dislike the method of using every free space for parking, so I have only included parking where LFRV really has designated parking. The airport now has 11 GA parking spaces small-medium.
