This folder contains two repaints for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47 #5, S/N 41-18527. This was one of the first from the 316th Sq.
ATC, to visit Project 19 (a aircraft repair facility in East Africa, operated by Douglas), delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt engines to the RAF. It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily, where, the pilot, Lt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK. The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments except the stand by compass. Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but the moon and the sticking standby compass. It was later used for experimental night camouflage, and this paintscheme is included as well as JK_Cricket. Jiminy Cricket continued to serve till May 1, 1947, when it was salvaged. This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Malaysia Singapore Airlines (MSA) colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. MSA came into being in November 1967 when the governments of Malaysia and Singapore decided to combine operations. Over the years their network expanded greatly with flights to many countries worldwide. However, there were differences in philosophy; Singapore pushed for expanded international services while Malaysia’s officials sought greater development of lengthy regional/domestic routes. This led to very acrimonious meetings between the officials of the two countries from 1971 onward, which led to the dissolution of MSA and the eventual birth of two new airlines; Malaysian Airline System (MAS), and Singapore Airlines which were both formally launched on October 1 1972. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3 This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-v3.

This is a repaint of the 707-312B in Malaysia Singapore Airlines (MSA) colors. The payware Captain Sim 707-300 is needed for this repaint. The first MSA 707 was introduced in 1967 and was their international route workhorse until the airline's demise in 1972. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of MATS 43-16062, which crashed at Isachsen weather station on Ellef Ringnes Island, Nunavut, Canada in 1949. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of Ozark Air Lines N763A, c/n 4894, an ex USAAF 41-20124 C-53, delivered on 18 March 1942. It became US Navy R4D-3 05078 and was assigned to VR-1. After the war it flew with Continental as NC73726 and with Southern as N70SA. It then passed through several owners until bought by the Prairie Aviation Museum in 1984, and used for the 35 anniversary of Ozark Air Lines as N763A. It is still airworthy. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

Originally 42-23310 G-AGZF, WZ984 & F-GDPP. It is still airworthy as F-AZTE. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A-75-DL c/n 19431 USAAF serial 42-100968, which flew with the 319th TCS/ 1st Air Commando Group in northern Burma during november 1944 in operation Grubworm, the airlift to China. She later took part in the feb '45 airlift to Meiktila and the may '45 airborne assault on Rangoon. After the war, she flew as VT-AUQ first with Air India and later with Kalinga Airlines. She crashed in 1965, while dropping supplies N of Mohanbari, India.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.
