This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of 2077 of the Brazilian Air Force. It was originally c/n 12147 / 42-92356 and was later sold as PT-KVT. It was destryed in a crash at Cascavel in 1979. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

| Martin's Air Charter "1964" Douglas C-54B |

On 12 June 1962 the four years young Dutch charter company Martin's Air Charter (MAC), proud owner of two de Havilland DH-104 Dove and two Douglas C-47 ("DC-3") aircraft, welcomed at its Amsterdam homebase the flagship of the fleet: the Douglas C-54B ("DC-4") PH-MAE. Until that moment the largest aircraft of MAC, whose main activities were on the IT-charters and ad-hoc cargo transport, were C-47 PH-MAA which was limited to the transport of max. 32 passengers and C-47 PH-MAB which had a large freight door and could transport a maximum of 3 tons payload. C-54B PH-MAE was a huge improvement since it could transport 70 passengers or 7 tons payload. The other great advantage being it range (medium distance). It soon became a very popular aircraft. With the arrival of the larger Douglas DC-6A combiplane PH-MAM in 1966, the days of PH-MAE with MAC were numbered. The C-54B was sold to the German operator Allgemeine Lufttransport All-Air. Around the same time Martin's Air Charter had changed its name into Martinair Holland and as such entered the turboprop and jet age. These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Project Airbus A319-132 - Bangkok Air - Sukhothai (CSHD) Texture only. New 2048x2048 pixles HD resolution with costum windows, details, shadows, markings and reworked alpha channels to create a realistic shine effect on the airplane. It took about 2 months to create the custom CSHD paintkit and 2 weeks to create the texture. Original aircraft by Project Airbus, texture by Daniel Furnkas (Cheese-Strike Repaints)

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B 79001 of the Swedish Air Force that was at the start of the Catalina affair (Swedish: Catalinaaffären), a military confrontation and Cold War-era diplomatic crisis in June 1952, in which Soviet fighter jets shot down two Swedish aircraft over international waters in the Baltic Sea. The first aircraft to be shot down was an unarmed Swedish Air Force Tp 79, a derivative of the Douglas DC-3, carrying out radio and radar signals intelligence-gathering for the National Defence Radio Establishment. None of the crew of eight was rescued. The second aircraft to be shot down was a Swedish Air Force Tp 47, a Catalina flying boat, involved in the search and rescue operation for the missing DC-3. The Catalina's crew of five was saved. The Soviet Union publicly denied involvement until its dissolution in 1991. The aircraft was manufactured in 1943 with original US serial number 42-5694, and was delivered to USAAF 15th Troop Carrier Squadron (61st Troop Carrier Group). It saw action in northern Africa before being stationed at RAF Barkston Heath. On June 13, 1952, it disappeared east of the isle of Gotska Sandön while carrying out signals intelligence-gathering operations for the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment. Both aircraft were located in 2003, and the DC-3 was salvaged, and the wreckage is currently on display in the Swedish Air Force Museum near Linköping. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of DC-3C N777YA, which is flying with Bush Air Cargo from Anchorage, Alaska. Originally built in 1944 (c/n 25634), it first flew with the USAAF (43-48373), before serving with the US Navy (17259). In 1946 it was registered with Wien Alaska Airlines as NC21769 and then saw service with Aero Retardent Inc. as N777DG, Pacific Galactic as N777PG and finally with Woods Air Service as N777YA before being sold to its present owner. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of G-AMCA (c/n 16218, ex-44-76634, KN487), one of the C-47's operated by Air Atlantique, which was an airline based at Coventry Airport operating a number of classic aircraft, both for passenger operation and for cargo operation. At present, it is being used at the old Valkenburg airbase in the Netherlands as scenery for the musical 'Soldier of Orange'.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.
