Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LG-P) "Sweet Dish" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G 44-6596 LG-P "Sweet Dish" of the 322nd BS/ 91st BG based in Bassingbourne UK. She arrived in Bassingbourne on the 4th of November 1944 and flew her first mission 5 days later, after which she was assigned to Lt Bob Roach and his crew. He suggested naming her Sweet Dish, after his wife, who was known to the crew. Tony Starcer painted her portrait, based on a pocket photograph. By war's end, she would have completed 46 missions by the war's end, including 24 flown by BoB Roach. Her hairiest mission was to Berlin on 5 december. Flak knocked out no.1 engine and set fire to no.2. During the dive to eliminate the fire, the engineer bailed out, and the navigator and bomb aimer followed him. The fire was extinguished however, and 'Sweet Dish' flew home on two engines. They counted 365 holes in the ship next day, and it took until the end of december to get her in the air again. At the end of the war, she took a group of ground crew on a flight over the damaged cities of Germany, so that they too could see the effect of their work, and in may she helped repatriate released PoW's. In june 1945, she flew back to the States, where she was scrapped at Kingman, Arizona in december 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

Boeing B-17G "Sally B" G-BEDF Download

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the FSX Wings of Power II Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress, in the markings of "Sally B", the UK's last remaining airworthy B-17. One of the last Flying Fortress built at the Lockheed-Vega plant in Burbank, California, this aircraft was delivered new to the USAAF on June 19, 1945. Later, it was operated as a mapping surveyor in France before being brought to England in March 1975. In 1982, Ted White, the man who was responsible for bringing the aircraft to England, was tragically killed when his Harvard crashed at an air rally in Malta. In memory of Ted White, the inner starboard cowling will always be painted in yellow and black checkers, the same way Ted White's Harvard cowling was painted. For the past 31 years, "Sally B" has continued to fly, under the leadership of Elly Sallingboe and with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers. In 1990, "Sally B" played lead role in the movie "Memphis Belle," and continues to wear the same scheme she did during filming, with the exception of the Sally B nose art and checkered cowling.

P51B #43-7061 'Old 7' Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the P-51B/C model for FSX by Warbirdsim. It shows 'Old 7', 43-7061, which was the pride and joy of the 2nd FS/52nd FG. It flew over 125 operational missions, amassing 778 flying hours and shot down at least 8 enemy aircraft, without suffering a single mechanical failure. It was lovingly maintained at first by S/Sgt Vincent Reagan, and later by S/Sgts James Lynes and C.G. Jones. By december 1944, it was the oldest aircraft in the 2nd FS, and it remained so. The officers and men of the 2nd FS were so proud of 'Old 7' that they tried to have her sent to the US for a warbond tour, but the Air Force was not interested. During its long career, it served as the regular mount for Capt. Arthur Johnston (who named it Marie and flew it as QP-M), Capt. William DeForest (when it was changed to Myrtle and QP-7) and Lt. Thomas Hoover, as well as several other pilots. Repaint by JanKees Blom, based on the warbirdsim paintkit.

EL AL Boeing 777-258ER - Photoreal (Livery Pack) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This package adds EL AL's 777-258ER fleet to PMDG's 777-200LRX addon. This package includes all EL AL 777 fleet in UTHD Photoreal textures. This painting, which took almost a year to master changes completely PMDG's master textures and adds numerous photoreal elements from the tails up until the entrance doors or the smallest markings on the fuselage.

Furthermore, each aircraft was painted individually! It means that no aircraft is the same! 4X-ECA, ECB, ECC, and ECD, as the older models are painted with more wear signs such as extra dirt or discoloration effects, while the newer 4X-ECE and ECF are painted with more shine effects. In addition, every single aircraft has it's own individual cockpit layouts mastered to match completely with the real deal! As for now the package is released as an "Initial Release" due to the fact PMDG gas yet to release a -200ER variant. If such a variant is ever released this package will be updated in advance, same with future updates.

This package was designed exclusively for PMDG 777-200LRX and for use with that product only. By Yarden Ben-Dor
