| Airbus A318 FD Special Version V2 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
After my initial work on the Project airbus A318 (V1.2) and on the project Airbus A319 (A319 Special Version V2), I present my special version of the Project Airbus A318 Version 2, which includes many improvements and new features.
The instrument panel has been adapted of the Stefan Liebe work, on which I have added many changes. I created a vertical navigation gauge (VNAV gauge) which manages automatically the climb of the aircraft like a FMC (it can be work in several stage), with pre-programmed data according the weight of the aircraft and the altitude. The autopilot is constant MACH, with a transition altitude of 25000ft, thus avoiding the risk of overspeed. The ND will display information page in real time on the flight plan, an information page on the destination airport and display the radar map of the terrain, with AI traffic in real time.
All instruments are active in the VC and 2D panel. The instruments were completed by a multitude of small details. I have improved the autolanding function, with a soft landing (rounded). There is a complete operating manual in PDF format, in English and in French. Of course, TOGA mode and Autobrake mode works. Only compatible with FSX SP2 or Acceleration. See the readme file and the user manual for information and copyright. This version is also a big upgrade on the A318 special version 1.0 and 1.2. This is not an update, but a new aircraft. Francois Dore.

| FSX/P3D Ethiopian Airlines 707-379C 1968 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the 707-379C in Ethiopian Airlines colors. The payware 707-300C by Captain Sim is needed for this repaint. Ethiopian Airlines was established in 1946 by the Emperor Haile Sellassie, and TWA which provided technical and managerial support. Regular operations commenced on April 8 1946 with a fleet of 6 ex USAAF DC-3s. Later in 1950, 2 Convair CV-240s entered the fleet. Then in 1958, the first DC-6B arrived on the scene. On January 1 1959 Ethiopian officially became a member of IATA. The first jet services started in 1963 after the delivery of the carrier's first Boeing 720s. The 720s replaced the DC-6Bs on the European routes. In 1964, Ethiopian started a new pilot training school, installed a large IBM computer system, and also established the largest jet overhaul facility in Africa. 707s, 727s, and 737s, joined the fleet in the ensuing years. Today Ethiopian ranks as Africa's supreme air carrier with a safe and reliable service, notwithstanding the 737 Max 8 tragedy, and has a vast route network. The cherry on top was when in 2014, Ethiopian dethroned South African Airways as the "Best African Airline". Textures are 32 bit dds and DXT5 textures are included as well. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3Dv1-3.

| Modern Stripes Repaint of FSX Cessna 172 |
|
File Description:
This is a repaint only for the stock Cessna 172 in Flight Simulator X. (This will 'not' work in FS2004. This is a DDS texture set). This repaints the default Cessna to a modern Cessna paint stripe scheme. This uses the stock instrumentation, not the Garmin system, though that is very easily adapted. Remember to turn off 'Show Aircraft ID' as this aircraft features its own Registry in the paint scheme. By William Ortis. | FW190 A5 KM+EY from III./SKG10 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This file contains alternative textures for the payware Classics Hangar FW190 A-5 which can be found in the late variants package.
The textures depict a badly worn FW190 A-5 flown by III./SKG10 in Tunis during the winter of 1942-1943. These FW190s were pressed straight from the factory into the desert war. Most aircrafts did not even receive their tactical markings, but kept flying with their factory registration, like this particular aircraft.
Textures with and without historical tailmarkings are included.
