File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the accu-sim version of the A2A B-17G Flying Fortress. B-17F 41-24585 "Wulfe Hound" flew with the 303rd BG from the UK until it was forced to make an emergency landing within enemy territory on 12 december 1945. It was not damaged very much, and the Germans managed to get it airborne again. It was given a yellow underside and the markings DL+XC and was extensively tested at Rechlin airfield. It was also sent on a tour of Luftwaffe fighterbases in France, to make the pilots there with the weak and strong points of the B-17. Afterwards, it was transferred to KG200, a squadron for all kinds of clandestine missions. It was destroyed during an American airraid on Oranienburg Airfield near Berlin in april 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by A2A.

| "Polished RAF Harvard" North American AT-6 (D-FRCP) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored Noorduyn-built Harvard Mk.IIb registered as D-FRCP. An earlier, pre-2010 depiction of this aircraft is included in the A2A product, and this repaint depicts the aircraft as it now appears following an extensive 3-4 year restoration by MeierMotors, completed in 2014. This particular aircraft was assigned to the RCAF during WWII, as FS728, and was later sold to the Netherlands AF in 1947 where it was coded B-104. The aircraft was first sold into the civilian market in 1970, becoming PH-SKL in the Netherlands, and would later be sold to Britain as G-BAFM, then to Switzerland as HB-RCP, and finally to Germany in 2001, becoming D-FRCP. Following its recent restoration, the aircraft is finished in overall polished metal with basic RAF trainer markings.

| Lancair Legacy (N23LF) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Lynn Farnsworth built, with the help of with Andy Chiavetta of Aerochia, a Lancair Legacy for racing in the Sport Class at the Reno air races. He had hoped to have it ready to go in 2004, but it wasn't ready until after the race was over. It's modeled after Darryl Greenamyers race plane.
N23LF, aka 'Miss Karen II', has a modified TSIO-550 engine and twin turbochargers. The first 'Miss Karen' flown by Lynn, was a F-100 Misty FAC at Phan Rang AB, RVN. Karen, wouldn't you know, is Lynn's wife. Another case of 'name you plane after your wife and you get to keep it!' :-)
Google Lt Col. Lynn Farnsworth, he's a heck of a guy!
I trust you all have a paid for copy of RealAir's Lancair Legacy. If not, people will be round to see you!

A repaint only for the payware Warbirdsim product 'Mustang Tales'. This repaint depicts the restored P-51D-25-NA 44-73343, "Live Bait", which completed a ground-up restoration by Midwest Aero Restorations in 2010. Following a crash landing at the 1971 races, the aircraft would pass through a few owners until restoration finally began on the aircraft in 2005. The aircraft first flew again in July 2010, and took home the Reserve Grand Champion WWII award at the 2010 EAA Airventure Oshkosh air show. The markings are that of Captain Clayton Kelly Gross, 355th FS, 354th FG, 9th Air Force. Kelly Gross was reunited with this, 'his' airplane, at Oshkosh 2010.
