| B-24 USAAF 489th BG "Sharon D" |

File Description:
This Ford-built B-24H was assigned to Lt Col Leon Vance, deputy commander of the 489th BG. It was Vance who had brought the aircraft from the US to Halesworth. The bomber was named after its pilot’s infant daughter Sharon, who had been born in 1942. Lt Col Vance was flying a different aircraft on the 5 June 1944 mission against a German coastal defence complex near Wimereaux, France-a mission in which the latter aircraft was lost, and for which Vance was awarded the Medal of Honor. He was the only B-24 crew member in the Eighth Air Force accorded this distinction whilst flying a mission from the UK. Vance was heading home to recover from combat wounds when he went down on a C-54 Skymaster carrying wounded and crippled veterans over the North Atlantic on 26 July 1944. In October 1946, at the age of four, Sharon Vance travelled via US Army Air Forces transport to Enid, Oklahoma (now home of Vance Air Force Base), for a ceremony in which Maj Gen James P Hodges gave her the Medal of Honor awarded to her father. Today, daughter Sharon Kiernan of San Diego, California, is an Air Force wife, and she helps to keep alive the memory of her father, and of the bomber named after her. The Sharon D retained its nickname throughout the war, and was eventually transferred to the 445th BG. It survived the conflict, and was eventually broken up for scrap.

| Boeing B-17G 91st BG (OR-L) "Judy's Little Ass" |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G 43-38841, which was assigned to the 323rd BS/ 91st BG in November 1944 and sported noseart designed to beat the censors. The name was more risqué than the Disney-styled drawing of a little donkey, painted by Tony Starcer. The aircraft survived the war, having flown 45 missions, with 22 different crews. The crew with the largest series of flights, nine, was flown by the crew of Lt Robert Lawson, in february 1945. She returned to the US on 26 may 1945, and was scrapped in Kingman in november 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

SIMFLY FUN (without ATC Tower Controller).

| FSX/P3D/FS2004 Aerostar 727-25 1981 |

This is a repaint of a 727-25 in Aerostar colors. The freeware Boeing 727-100 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. Louisiana based Professional Travel formed Aerostar in July 1979, and the carrier began flight activities on June 19, 1981. Aerostar was based in Atlanta, Georgia. They had three 727-100s in their fleet, and they operated domestic and international tour and general passenger group flights. They mainly flew to Las Vegas, the US Virgin Islands, and other points in the Caribbean. However, by September 1983 they suspended operations following the repossession of their aircraft. Textures are 32bit BMP. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on P3D v1-3, and FSX. The textures might also work on FS2004.

GMG Airline was established in 1997 and started domestic operations on 6 April 1998. International services were launched six years later on 8 September 2004, with a service from Chittagong to Kolkata.
GMG began regular flights to Bangkok, Delhi and Kathmandu on 20 October 2006. It started services to Kuala Lumpur on 24 January 2007. The airline started its operation to the Middle East with daily flights to Dubai on 1 February 2008. In July 2010, GMG initiated flights to Jeddah and Riyadh.
The airline also served Abu Dhabi and Karachi as well as domestic stations Jessore and Sylhet
A GMG Airlines Bombardier Dash 8 In February 2008 the airline added a leased Boeing 747-300 to the fleet starting wide-body operations, this proved to be a White Elephant in an era which saw Global economic problems and an unprecedented peak in oil prices, thus causing a substantial loss to the carrier, the 747 was eventually phased out after just five months of service.On 17 June 2009, the largest conglomerate of Bangladesh, BEXIMCO took a 50% stake in the airline, re-branding it and raising service standards to a higher level. This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. One repaint represents Resort Airlines' C-54A (modified to DC-4 standard) N65142 while on lease to Slick Airways from 1 July 1959 till 30 June 1960 for military charter flying (Logair) for the U.S. Goverment. After having returned to Resort Airlines she was placed in open storage at Oakland, CA. The other repaint represents the same aircraft in her British ferry markings she carried in July 1961. Around 1961-62 five ex-Resort C-54s which had been stored at Oakland for some time, ranging from several months to 6 years, were rescued by Aviation Traders (of Southend and Stansted, England) from the scrapdealer's axe and converted to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry and cargo aircraft. N65142, which was in a very poor condition after her Logair period of minimal maintenance and repeated overloading, as well as the abuse by the elements during the open air storage close to sea water, was one of these lucky birds.

This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Olympic Airways colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Greece's Olympic Airways was founded by the enigmatic shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, in 1957. He was the only individual in the world of that day to own a national airline. In July 1956, the Greek State signed an agreement with Onassis, for the exclusive use of air transport in Greece. On April 6, 1957 Olympic Airways came onto the scene by replacing Greece's previous national airline; TAE. Olympic received their first jet in 1960, the DH Comet. Olympic Airways' Olympic rings logo was the definition of the golden years of civil aviation, classy and very eye-catching. Due to tragedy striking Onassis in 1973 with the death of his only son, who was a pilot himself and was going to be the new head of Olympic Airways. Onnasis heartbroken, sold Olympic to the Greek state a few months later. He passed away himself in 1975. Olympic operated over a dozen DC-3s. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

textures for cbfs beaufighter. One of the 24 Beaufighters flown from from Richmond NSW to Bohle River near Townsville Q for operational training. Crew: Pilot FLGOFF Harding & Nav SGT H. Cane (Dick p.18). 22/08/42 Damaged lower cowling, tail and rudder. 26/08/42 12 RSU for repair. 08/07/43 30 Sqn. 22/07/43 Damaged port wing tip when it struck a Japanese flag pole whilst strafing buildings at Gasmata (Series of photos including AWM OG0023). Dick p.124 claims medium Japanese anti-aircraft fire had blown off the 45cm of wing tip. Aircraft ground looped on landing at Turnbull airstrip NG but no further damage was done. Crew: Pilot FLGOFF Graeme Hunt & Nav PLTOFF Arthur Hodges. 19/07/43 15 ARD for repair. 08/08/43 30 Sqn. Coded V. Around this time a large reclining girl was painted on the port fuselage, forward of the cupola. It was copied from the July 43 edition of Man magazine (Photo - Parnell p.29) 30/03/44 5 OTU. 29/04/44 5 AD. 25/08/44 5 OTU. 21/02/45 5 AD. 06/11/45 6 AD. 14/12/45 Converted to components.

| IBERIA Airbus A330-300 "Sierra de la Demanda" Ver 2.00 Fictional |

IBERIA has recently ordered 8 Airbus A330-300 aircraft (powered by GE, with an option for 8 more). First of them will be delivered on last quarter of 2012, and meanwhile, IBE is going to operate on wet lease other 2 A330-200. These 330's will replace older A340-300 on long range operations. Some colleagues from IBERIA Virtual on IVAO have asked for this gorgeous lady, so everybody can fly her from now on.
This is a new version with reworked textures that add more level of detail, and make the aircraft a little bit dirtier. Requires payware Overland-SMS A330-300. Tested in FSX, should work too in FS2004.
