This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44 Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1362, originally J4F-2 #37732. It first flew as N9236H with Western newspapers United, before going to Amphibian Airways of new Zealand, becoming ZK-BAY. It was mainly used for flights from Invercargill to Stewart Island. It was taken over by Tourist Air Travel in Auckland in 1961, and continued with Mount Cook Airlines in 1968, before crashing and sinking in Auckland Harbor in 1970. Repaint by JanKees Blom, bassed on the paintkit by Flysimware.

Since flying this aircraft, I felt that the original texture was a little too "clean" for a highly used US Navy aircraft. So I just used some tactically correct colors, as well as weathering techniques to enhance the original texture.

This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This is an updated standalone version of my repaint of the restored AT-6D 42-85696/N85696, painted in the aircraft's original WWII trainer markings of Craig Army Air Field. This updated version includes new cockpit texture modifications matching the real aircraft, including WWII-period and re-faced modern gauges (to look WWII-correct, just as done in various restorations today), and black canopy framing, as well as a number of improvements/corrections to the main exterior texture files. The previous version of this repaint is not required.

Eastern Airlines Douglas DC-4 'N88707', a former U.S. Navy Douglas R5D-2, (c/n 18378) was leased to Eastern Airlines from July 1946 until May 1951. After that period it returned back to the U.S. Navy and was sold in November 1956 to Braathens. This is a repaint for the beautiful Flight Replicas Douglas DC-4/C-54/ATL98 Carvair package. Tested in FSX and P3Dv4. Installation instructions are included.

The version presented here is a possible livery that may have been adopted by the US Coastguard. The version presented here is a fictional rendition of the US Homeland Security livery currently presented on some Blackhawks. The odd thing about the livery is that it displays three "loayalties": Police, Homeland Security and Customs and Border Patrol. The files contained in this zip are intended for the RAZBAM A-7 Corsair II vol.1 for FSX.
The aircraft depicted served with the US Navy VA-86 "Sidewinders" during 1986. This is their first low visibility tactical paint scheme in 2 greys. I equipped the pilot with a custom coloured helmet and the pilot/plane-captain's names are fictious.
Please take note that all the main textures are 2048x2048 pix and they feature custom panel lines/rivets and bump mapping.
