| Transavia Douglas DC-6 |

In November 1966 the Dutch charter operator Transavia Holland started its activities with 2 Douglas DC-6 and 1 Douglas DC-6B aircraft. Despite stiff competition from KLM and Martinair Holland, Transavia was able to conquer a considerable part of the charter and inclusive tours market and expanded its fleet with a several more DC-6B's. In 1968 Transavia became involved in the relief airlift from Sao Tome to Biafra using its fleet of DC-6's. The next year the DC-6's were sold to Flughjalp who continued flying the Biafra missions till January 1970. Featured here are DC-6 PH-TRA (1966 livery) and DC-6 PH-TRB (1968 livery). Today Transavia is a major Dutch low cost and charter airline (owned by Air France-KLM) operating Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. | KLM Douglas DC-6 |

File Description:
Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-6 (dc6_v20x.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

The Airbus A330 is a twin-engined wide-body Airbus A340 and is a four-engined wide-body aircraft produced by AirbusIndustries. Both models have many features and components, and differ essentially only by the number of trie works. You are designed as long-haul aircraft. Both aircraft have modern turbofan engines with high bypass ratio and are the first Flight course with a modern fly-by-wire controls in a two-man cockpit. The first flight of 4 four-engine A340-300 version took place on 25 October 1991 and the twin-engine A330-300 version took place on 2 November 1992. Final assembly of the Airbus A330 and A340 in Toulouse by place on a street clock. As of July 2010 from the Airbus A330 were a total of 710 of 1092 aircraft ordered and delivered from the Airbus A340 delivered a total of 374 of 380 of the aircraft ordered, 369 of which are still in service are. | Southwest "California One" 737-800 WL V2 (FIX) |

File Description: The current SWA California One is a
737-300 [737-3H4, N609SW] which SWA, may someday, replace with a newer, larger
version. This is my rendition of the California One scheme as it might look if
applied to a 737-800NGX. I tried to keep it as true to the current scheme as
possible within the limitations of the PMDG paintkit, but there are some areas
where I had to use a little artistic license in order for it to apply to the 800
NGX without looking odd. This is a full .ptp package and requires the PMDG
livery manager for installation. NOTE: If you downloaded the original
version, please replace it with this one . This file completely replaces
Southwest "California One" 737-800 WL. Unfortunately, there
were some errors in the Alpha Channels of the original .dds files that made
strange things happen to the fuselage especially at night.

| FSX/P3D Seaboard World 747-245F 1974 |

This is a repaint of the 747-245F in HD Seaboard World 1974 colors. The payware 747-200 by Commercial level Simulations (CLS) is needed for this repaint. Seaboard World ordered three B-747-245Fs in 1973 and they were delivered in the summer of 1974. Seaboard managed to get 2 world records with their 747s in the 1970s. On Jan. 26 1975 a Seaboard 747 carried a payload of 253,800 pounds from New York to London, which was the largest weight ever lifted off the ground in aviation history, at the time. Then, on November 30, 1976, Seaboard World 747-245F N702SW set a world speed record from New York to Frankfurt in 5 hr. 33 min. This is a repaint of N701SW which was with Seaboard form 1974 till the merger with Flying Tiger Line in 1980. Textures are HD 32bit BMP. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX and P3Dv1-3.

This was requested by Ahmed Fouad on Facebook.
The engine spiral for this livery is surprisingly unusual, like some sort of hybrid combination of the Hurricane Spiral and Comma Spiral. I think this is just a subgenre of the hurricane spiral with a different type of hurricane displayed there, but it just reminds me of the comma spiral with the black and white swapped out, like what you see on some Iran Air A300s.
Working on this livery for this model is quite tricky, as the engine pylons texture uses the same side for all sides. Inside the engine pilons texture ("all_engines.t" and "all_engines.l"), there is 2 pylons painted top and bottom. But the model only uses the lower pylon for both sides in both pylons, leaving the other upper one in the dust.

| FSX Air Commerz Vickers Viscount 808 |

This is a repaint of the German airline - Air Commerz Vickers Viscount 808. The freeware Viscount 800 by Jens Kristensen is needed for this repaint. Air Commerz Flug GmbH was formed in Hamburg in June 1970. They got their first aircraft, two Vickers Viscounts, in March 1970 and commenced operations in June 1970. The airline's official home base was Dusseldorf Airport, although most flights were flown out of Hamburg Airport. The flights were all charter flights. In March and May 1971 Air Commerz received two ex Pacific Western Airlines 707s. The jets were introduced into service in June 1971 on a flight from Hamburg to Reims. However, due to financial problems the airline ceased it operations in September 1972, after only 2 years in business. Air Commerz was finally dissolved in January 1973.. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX. Textures are DDS DXT5. It was not tested on P3D, but it should work on P3D v1-3.

| Cameroon Airlines 'Circa 1980' Boeing 707-300 |

This is a repaint of the 707-300 in Cameroon Airlines colors. The payware Captain Sim 707-300 is needed for this repaint. The Cameroon government decided to pull out of the Air Afrique consortium on September 2 1971. They went on to form their own national carrier, Cameroon Airlines, which started operations on November 1 of the same year. Their route network consisted mainly of destinations in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Camair (as it was known) was a success story. In terms of quality of its service, two years after the entry into service of its Boeing 747- Combi, Camair was nominated in the prestigious IATA ranking coming out 6th in the world in June 1983. Camair was the undisputed leader in the sub-region of Central Africa and West Africa. Due to economic and safety issues in later years, Camair ceased operations in March 2008. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

| FSX Boeing 737-800 Fixer ** Update ** |

File Description:
There are several issues with the DEFAULT Boeing 737-800 that Microsoft didn't ever fix. The first is the taxi light ground splash is mapped with the landing lights so you have to turn on the landing lights to see anything at night. Second, they defined 3 exits in the aircraft.cfg, but only enabled 2. Third, the switches that control the landing lights is reversed. You have to flip the switch to the OFF position to get the lights to come ON, same with the inoperable Retractable light swtiches. Lastly, the wingtip nav/strobes were poorly positioned. This package includes a reworked B737_800.mdl file that fixes the taxi light, B737_800.cab with the modified Overhead_Popup.XML to fix the gauges and a partial Aircraft.CFG that includes my modifications to the aircraft.CFG to fix the lights and exits. There is also a utility included that will self-install these items without any fuss. See the Readme.txt for more information.

| Douglas C-47 (P2-002) PNG Defence Force |

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B-30-DK c/n# 32877 44-76545 of the PNGDF. It was built by Douglas and went to the RAAF in april 1945 as A65-84. It flew with 2 ATU with call sign VH-HJM and was later assigned to 34 squadron. After the war, it remained with the RAAF until 1975, when it was one of seven C-47's that were donated to the Papua New Guinea's Defence Force, where it was assigned the serial P2-002. It flew with the PNGDF until the late 1980's, when all C-47's were phased out. The aircraft was retained for display, and can currently been seen standing on pylons at Jackson Airport. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.
