Boeing 727-100 Air West. This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) B727-100 model. Complete package including model etc.. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, shine effect, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson. XML Programmer, Engine Smoke Effects Creator by David Biggar. Master textures and paint kit by Kyle Schurb. | Republic Airlines '1980 Boeing 727-200 |

Republic Airlines was formed on July 1 1979 through the merger of Southern Airlines and North Central Airlines, both major regional carriers. In 1980 Republic absorbed Hughes Airwest, also a major regional carrier. By 1984 republic was the 5th largest airline in the USA (and 7th largest in the world) with over 1,300 daily flights. They mainly flew to points in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and the Cayman Islands. Northwest Airlines was unhappy with the upstart competitor, and in January 1986 made a huge $884 million bid for Republic. Stephen Wolf, Republic's president & CEO, accepted the Northwest offer. Thus ended Republic's short life. Textures are 32 bit. This repaint is Republic's original "Herman the Duck" scheme. It was tested on P3D v3, and should work on FSX & FSX-SE.

+This is an update to my previous upload. That repaint lacked the anti-reflective paint, just under the cockpit windows. This repaint has rectified that.+
This is a repaint of the 727-200 in TAP (Portugal) colors. The freeware 727-200 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. This is a TAP 727-200 in classic 1970s livery. It was their first 727-200, and was delivered to the airline in 1975. This repaint was tested on P3D v3. It should work on FSX & FSX-SE.

File Description:
This is a repaint for the default FSX B737-800 representing a colorful and cheeky Kulula airlines aircraft on the domestic route in South Africa. The real airplane (a B734-MSN 25116) was delivered to Comair in 2007 and taken over by Kulula (a low cost subsidiary of comair/BA) later that year. Due to limitations in the texture modeling, I have placed the "camoplane" logo on the left side nose area, rather than the engine cowlings. Speculars, alpha channels included. Tested in FSX.
