| Transavia Douglas DC-6 |

File Description:
In November 1966 the Dutch charter operator Transavia Holland started its activities with 2 Douglas DC-6 and 1 Douglas DC-6B aircraft. Despite stiff competition from KLM and Martinair Holland, Transavia was able to conquer a considerable part of the charter and inclusive tours market and expanded its fleet with a several more DC-6B's. In 1968 Transavia became involved in the relief airlift from Sao Tome to Biafra using its fleet of DC-6's. The next year the DC-6's were sold to Flughjalp who continued flying the Biafra missions till January 1970. Featured here are DC-6 PH-TRA (1966 livery) and DC-6 PH-TRB (1968 livery). Today Transavia is a major Dutch low cost and charter airline (owned by Air France-KLM) operating Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. This is a native FSX-Acceleration model painted as a Socony-Vacuum corporate aircraft. It has the usual animations, 32 bit and .dds textures, reflective glass and a specular shine. The VC features working gauges and animated flight controls. There is a minimal 2D panel. By Paul Clawson, repainted and modified panel by Mohammed Al-Khalifa.

| KLM Douglas DC-6 |

File Description:
Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway. File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-6 in Lanica colors. The freeware Cal Classic DC-6 by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. AN-AMI was the first DC-6 Lanica ever bought. It was purchased in 1962 and flew for Lanica till 1971. Textures are 32bit. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FS2004, P3Dv1-3, & FSX.
