| FSX/P3D Aloha Airlines DC-3 circa 1958 |

This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Aloha Airlines colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Aloha was founded in 1946 under the name of Trans Pacific Airways. With a single DC-3, they offered passenger charter and cargo services between the islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii. On February 11 1949 they officially became a scheduled service airline. Their main rival was Hawaiian Airlines, and in 1957 they changed their name to Aloha Airline to better compete against Hawaiian. In 1959 a modern F-27 joined the fleet, which forced the retirement of Aloha's aging DC-3 fleet by the mid 1960s. They also introduced the Viscount 745D in June 1961. BAC-111s were acquired in 1966. However, the British made airliners had limitations in the very humid environment of Hawaii, and in 1967 Aloha ordered 2 Boeing 737-200s with a further 6 in 1968 to replace the BAC-111s. The 737s were destined to become the workhorse of the airline, with over 60 being used by Aloha over the years. Their iconic "Flower Power" livery was unveiled in 1969, and was reintroduced in 2006 on one of their 737 as a retro livery. Due to heavy financial problems caused by various factors, Aloha unfortunately ceased operations on March 31 2008. This DC-3, N2804D, was leased by Aloha in the late 1950s. Textures are DDS DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

File Description:
N313RC (cn 48091/1041), version 1. Northwest Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-82 for the Super 80 CLASSIC version only!! One of the very few MD's, NWA had in their fleet. This livery was originally created for the recently released Super80 PRO package, but with some minor adjustments we were able to convert it for usage with the CLASSIC version as well. Custom specular and normal mapping and as always : worn, torn, weathered and (a little) dirty. Screenshots are unedited. Installation is easy ; just use the repaintmanager. REPAINT UPDATED FOR - new Captain Sim v1.0 folders, improved wear pattern on wings, correction to engine paint issues.
This is a repaint of a Boeing 777-200ER, registration code OE-LPB, operated by Austrian Airlines, the flag carrier airline of Austria. Austrian is headquartered in Office Park 2 on the grounds of Vienna International Airport in Schwechat, Wien-Umgebung and operates scheduled services to over 130 destinations. It is a member of the Star Alliance. Austrian currently operates four Boeing 777-200ERs and has orders for four more.
This repaint has plenty of clear markings so if you enjoy exterior detail, then you will love this repaint. You can see (and read): Door opening instructions; Static port directions; Air vent warnings; Engine hazard area; No Step warnings; RAT caution; APU intake warning; Stabilizer compartment access; Ground power supply; Forward and aft access door instructions; Pitot, ADA probe, Ice detector and TAT probe markings; Visible rivets; Enhanced window frames; Authentic Austrian logo; Bold, colorful Austrian livery and authentic flags; Lovely Austrian flight attendant; No frame rate hit.

This file is my 3,000th official upload to AVSIM since 2002, many thanks to the fans who have requested, critiqued, praised, and blasted my work as necessary. There is no end in sight at this time, so look for a lot more work from me. Please read my text file for gobs of credit and thanks to the fans. This file pays homage to four generations of TWA liveries for this aircraft; an appropriate subject for a benchmark upload. This is my first attempt of a Captain Sim 727 repaint and depicts the livery of TWA in an alternate titling scheme.
The aircraft was hand painted using the Captain Sim paint kit and features DDS DXT5 textures.
Captain Sim 727-100 Base Pack for FSX and 727-200 add-on packages are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.
