File Description:
N979AS (cn 53471/2139), version 1. Alaska Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83 for the Super 80 CLASSIC version only!! Sadly, Alaska Airlines phased out their Maddog's and today (the 24th of August 2008), their last 4 MD's operate the last revenue flight for the company. This particular plane has a screwdriver tail so this livery was originally created for the recently released Super80 PRO package. With some minor adjustments we were able to convert it for usage with the CLASSIC version as well. Custom specular and normal mapping and as always : worn, torn, weathered and (a little) dirty. Screenshots are unedited. Installation is easy ; just use the repaintmanager. Coolsky / Flight1 Super 80 Classic package required. Here is the updated livery of Philippine Airlines' (specifically PAL Express) Dash-8.
The existing livery indicated PAL Express but the airline has since changed this to simply "Philippines". This is not just a modification of the old skin, though. I have used Majestic's paintkit to make an entirely new one and this repaint is recommended and tested only with their Q400.
Installation instructions are included in readme.txt located inside the archive. Enjoy!
