This FSX PMDG 747-400X -8i/8F Queen of the Skies repaint is of the latest KAL Cargo aircraft HL7617 owned by KAL and delivered in March 2013.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paintkit and features DDS DXT5 textures.
PMDG 747-400X and PMDG 747-400X -8i/F Product Model Extension for FSX are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of G-AMCA (c/n 16218, ex-44-76634, KN487), one of the C-47's operated by Air Atlantique, which was an airline based at Coventry Airport operating a number of classic aircraft, both for passenger operation and for cargo operation. At present, it is being used at the old Valkenburg airbase in the Netherlands as scenery for the musical 'Soldier of Orange'.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description:
c/n 280 V.781D. Delivered to the SAAF, 28 Squadron on 16 June 1958 carrying a large consignment of airframe spare parts. A lot of these parts were never used and were discovered in a stockists inventory in the UK in 2010 and are now being used to restore museum Viscounts around the world. On 1 February 1968 to 21 Squadron and then to 44 Squadron on 28 October 1983 where it continued opearation as a VIP transport aircraft until withdrawn from use in September 1991. It was sold in September 1991 to Bazair and exported as 9Q-CWL. It crashed on 6 June 1997, killing all 23 on board in the DRC. These are texture files only.
Prior installation of Jens B Kirstensen's FSX Vickers Viscount package (viscount_10x) is required.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B 79001 of the Swedish Air Force that was at the start of the Catalina affair (Swedish: Catalinaaffären), a military confrontation and Cold War-era diplomatic crisis in June 1952, in which Soviet fighter jets shot down two Swedish aircraft over international waters in the Baltic Sea. The first aircraft to be shot down was an unarmed Swedish Air Force Tp 79, a derivative of the Douglas DC-3, carrying out radio and radar signals intelligence-gathering for the National Defence Radio Establishment. None of the crew of eight was rescued. The second aircraft to be shot down was a Swedish Air Force Tp 47, a Catalina flying boat, involved in the search and rescue operation for the missing DC-3. The Catalina's crew of five was saved. The Soviet Union publicly denied involvement until its dissolution in 1991. The aircraft was manufactured in 1943 with original US serial number 42-5694, and was delivered to USAAF 15th Troop Carrier Squadron (61st Troop Carrier Group). It saw action in northern Africa before being stationed at RAF Barkston Heath. On June 13, 1952, it disappeared east of the isle of Gotska Sandön while carrying out signals intelligence-gathering operations for the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment. Both aircraft were located in 2003, and the DC-3 was salvaged, and the wreckage is currently on display in the Swedish Air Force Museum near Linköping.
