| Republic P-47D-20 365th FG (B4-W) "Mortician's Delight" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-5-RE 42-8438 B4-W "Morticians Delight", one of the P-47's flown by Lt Neal Worley of the 387th FS/ 365th FG. Lt. Worley's first two P-47's were called 'Kansas Jack', referring to his Emporia, Kansas upbringing, but he did not feel like naming his third aircraft. His crew came up with 'Morticians Delight', and Worley himself painted the picture on the engine cowling. In 127 missions, he crashed 5 Thunderbolts. His coolness under pressure was immortilized on July 26th, 1944. A 20 mm shell hit his right wheel well during an attack on Sauveur Lendelin, jamming the wheel. He discovered that only the left wheel would lower, but would not retract, so bellying in was no longer an option. He circled for over an hour, burning fuel, and then landed on only the left gear, easing the fighter down. When the right wing dipped just enough, he hit the left brake, and the P-47 spun to a stop. His landing was captured on film, and used in the movie "Fighter Squadron". The aircraft was repaired, and flew missions the very next day, as a testament to the ruggedness of the Thunderbolt. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26124 C4-Z "Dry Run", the assignjed aircraft of Lt Zell Smith, of the 388th FS/365th FG. Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, Lt. Smith was one of the original pilots of the 365th. He had a very dry sense of humor, which was sometimes mistaken for a serious demeanor, but other pilots liked to fly with him because he exuded confidence. During the october 21, 1944 'turkey shoot', he was credited with shooting down a 109, a 190 and damaging a second 190. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-21-RA 43-25519 D5-T "Stinker Too", the assigned aircraft of Lt. Rhinert Tadych of the 386th FS/ 365th FG. Lt. Tadych, of Manitowoe, Wisconsin was awarded the DFC for an attack on several tanks in the neighbourhood of Trier. Although his aircraft was severely damaged by flak early on in the attack, he held his position in the formation while bombing, strafing and destroying five tanks. The result was that his aircraft became a composite of three different aircraft. Lt Tadych flew 82 missions with the 365th till the end of the war. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26046 Y8-W "Fighting Gator" as flown by Lt. Fred Varn of the 507th FS/ 404th FG. It was a Republic Employee donated P47 that completed 200 missions without a technical abort and was retired from operational duties at a service conducted by the Group Commander. The aircraft was painted with the Republic Employee donated plaque and the ribbons of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and the Purple Heart. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

| P-47D Thunderbolts "Wicked Wabbit" & "Hun Hunter XVI" |

File Description:
This is a repaint pack only for the Wings of Power P-47 Thunderbolt. These repaints are in the markings of the Tennessee Museum of Aviation's P-47D Thunderbolts "Wicked Wabbit" and "Hun Hunter XVI". "Wicked Wabbit" is owned by John Shoffner while "Hun Hunter XVI" is owned by Neal Melton. Both aircraft are painted as 65th FS, 57th FG, 12th Airforce aircraft which were piloted by Lt. John Hare and Capt. Gil Wymond.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, representing 44-15422, the last P-51 flown by Major Donald H. Bochkay. He flew two tours with the 363rd FS/ 357th FG, finishing the war with 13.5 enemy aircraft shot down, including two Me-262's. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by John Terrell.
It should work in both FSX and FS9.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the A2A Simulations excellent P-47D Razorback. These textures represent an aircraft that was assigned to the 334th FS, 4th FG based at Debden, UK as it appeared in September, 1943. It was flown by Capt. Vernon A. Boehle. This aircraft was ditched in the English Channel on September 9, 1943 with the pilot surviving. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the A2A Simulations WOP3 P-47D Razorback payware package.

This folder contains a repaint for the Lockheed P-38 by Flight Simulations Design (FSD), representing P-38-J15-LO 42-104114 as she looked after having been used in combat by Capt. Warren G. Campbell of the 94th FS/ 1st FG. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom. Please note that I have changed the texture size from 4096x4096 to 2048x2048 for the main textures. This should give better frame rates I hope.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Aircraft Factory F4-U Corsair, in the paintscheme of ZK-COR. This was originally FG-1D NZ5648, and as such is the last remaining New Zealand Corsair. At present, she's flying with the Old Stick & Rudder Company in New Zealand. It is now registered ZK-COR, and wears # '8', VF-17 Jolly Rogers scheme. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.
