This is a glider from a visual novel: 'If My Heart Had Wings', by Pulltop and/or moenovel. This glider was builded by students of KEIFU Technical Collage in Kazegaura, Japan; who attended 'Soaring Club'. With this glider they flown through 'Morning Glory' (a rare meteorological phenomenon).

This is an example of the Schweizer SGS 1-26C glider which was essentially a SGS 1-26B that could be kit-built. Initially when Schweizer introduced the SGS 1-26 in 1954 it was intended to restricted to kits however most of the ships now flying in the US were factory built. This sim model will work well with both FSX SP2 and P3D V3. Simply unzip the Schweizer_SGS1-26C_287 folder into your airplane folder of FSX or P3D. Here's a different sort of glider for you to try out! The NASA M2-F1 was a lightweight, unpowered prototype aircraft, developed to flight test the wingless lifting body concept. The "M" refers to "manned" and "F" refers to "flight". In 1962, NASA Dryden management approved a program to build a lightweight, unpowered lifting body prototype. It featured a plywood shell placed over a tubular steel frame crafted at Dryden. For more background info check Wikipedia!

Aeriane Swift'Light for FSX and FS2004. The SWIFT is a high performance foot-launched sailplane, designed to combine some of the convenience of hang gliders with the soaring performance of sailplanes. It takes off and lands like a hang glider, yet maintains exceptional performance at high speeds, achieving a lift-to-drag ratio of about 25:1. Although it is a fully-cantilevered rigid wing with aerodynamic controls and flaps, it weighs only about 100 lbs and is easily transported on the top of a car. This model made with g-Max features full animations,a choice of two detailed VC cockpits (one with and one without the pilot)and custom built gauges.

The Atos VR is the all out highest performer,of a series of rigid wing hang gliders manufactured by Aeronautic Innovation Ruhle (A-I-R). Built for the serious XC and/or competition pilot it is a 13.3:1 aspect ratio super ship with a 45ft wingspan that is as easy to foot launch as any flex wing, but with a performance that is in a different league.
This model made with g-Max has aircraft animations and an all singing and dancing pilot that runs during landing and take-off, transfers his position to prone and weight shifts to control the glider. The wing structure is visible through the translucent fabric covering , and the compound flight instrument is custom built. For FSX and FS2004

The ARX-1 is a single seat sailplane concept in both unpowered (A model) and powered versions (B model). Both glider models make use of the variometer to detect thermals for soaring in FSX. The Concept 1 was our first concept plane, released in 2000 for FS7. The ARX-1 was originally designed after RC gliders, with basic technology from the default FS2000 Schweizer. So it does not have negative flaps, water ballast, or retractable gear. As our first Concept, it is purposely built to be incredibly simple, reliable, docile, and mildy aerobatic and features a forward fuselage and cockpit section identical to it's much smaller and faster cousin, the ARX-6 Formula One pylon air racer.
