| Boeing 307 Stratoliner ver 1.1 |
|
File Description:
FSX Boeing 307 Stratoliner ver 1.1. The Boeing 307 was the first pressurized airliner. Because of the war, only 10 were built, initially for Pan American and TWA (and a special version for Howard Hughes). Five versions are included here, in PanAm and TWA colours as well as Airnautic and Aigle Azur. This version 1.1 is for FSX only, and has been modified to work correctly with all versions of FSX. FS2004 users should download B307_V10.zip instead. By Jens B. Kristensen.

| Junkers J.1000 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Junkers' produced a design study in 1924 for a visit to the United States. The study outlined a four-engined 80-passenger plane, incorporating a forward canard wing, as well as a main wing, both of which were fitted above twin pylons. Called the Junkers J.1000 Super Duck, passenger seating was to be provided both in the main wing and the hull sections of the craft. This Junkers design was intended to demonstrate an aircraft capable of trans-Atlantic operations of 8 to 10 hours and was completely revolutionary for its day.

| Ultralight Trike |
|
File Description:
Version 2.0 of my Ultralight trike for FS-X, FS9 and FS2002.
Originally modeled after the Maverick trike, I've added my own customizations but have tried to stay faithful to my own experience in trike flying to deliver flight dynamics that are true to the experience of flying a Part 103 trike. This latest package includes several changes, two new custom gauges (ASI. EGT/CHT), and several minor bug fixes. This project will work in FSX SP1 and SP2 if DX-10 Preview is disabled. Thanks goes to Dean Scott for donating his great sound set!

| C-17 Globemaster III/ER |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The C-17 Globemaster III/ER is a heavy cargo aircraft used by several foreign militaries, but primarily the U.S. Air Force. She is designed to do many things that other cargo aircraft cannot, based on her unique design. This version incorporates the extended range fuel tanks. The real world aircraft can actually use reverse thrust in flight, up to 100% reverse power, during descents or on the ground. It is also the only heavy aircraft in the world with a wing efficiency factor over 1.0, which is theoretically impossible, but true. All of the dynamics in this model are correct down to the inch, so she does almost everything the real aircraft does. Some things are not possible in FSX, including reverse thrust while in flight, but full flaps/slats employed in a steep descent will adequately simulate this effect without damage to the model while in flight. The landing gear are authentic and capable of heavy loads. The weight and balance is authentic. The fuel tanks are authentic. The aircraft name, tail number, location, and callsign are authentic. The calculated range(s) listed are all authentic, understanding that most public data released is based on average range, at average altitude, and normal payload missions. The sound is authentic. The engine dynamics are authentic. The panel used is the best I could find, is fairly authentic, and requires some pre-flight study before flight. All-in-All the aircraft is very simple to fly, but requires some study to operate correctly, so I recommend all simmers watch as many "You Tube" videos, read as many authentic sites, and study as much as possible about this aircraft before operation. | Horten H-VII |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Horten H-VII, experimental flying wing and trainer. Based on the experiences of the smaller H-Vc, the two-seated H-VII made its first flight in May 1943. The H-VII was powered by two Argus AS-10-SC engines driving two-bladed constant-speed propellers via extension shafts. The aircraft had a fully retractable twin nosewheel undercarriage. The aircraft could reach a max. speed of 340 km/hr. The paintings were in Luftwaffe camouflage, assigned to the RLM-no.8-226
This extraordinary aircraft probably suffered the same fate as the H-Vc and was burned after US troops occupied the Goettingen airfield in april 1945. By Andreas Becker.

| North American Aviation CV-10T CargoBronco [Updated] |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The OV-10 Bronco was a twin turboprop light attack and observation aircraft developed in the 1960’s. It proved very successful, with its capability of operating out of remote, unprepared airstrips whilst still carrying a significant payload and offering significant range and performance benefits.
As a result, a design was drawn up to modify the Bronco into a Cargo variant capable of carrying 8-12 combat troops or up to 4,500 pounds of cargo. Although never progressed beyond the design stage, it remains an interesting what-if of the aviation world.
This is a rework of Tim "Piglet" Conrad's FS9 original. Updated for FSX and P3D along with additional modifications. Please refer to the included manual for full list of changes and credits.

| Savoia Marchetti S.79CS "Sparviero/Corsa-Transatlantico" |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Civilian "CS" (Competizione Sportiva=Sporting Race) versions of the known medium and torpedo bomber Savoia-Marchetti S.79 "Sparviero", deployed by Regia Aeronautica, or Italian Royal Air Force, were successfully flown (w/civil marks) in the "Istres-Damascus-Paris (Lindberg Cup)" 1937 air race, where they ranked the first three places of the final scoreboard. The also "civilian" "T" (Transatlantic) version of the very same S.79 performed exceptionally in the 1938 Atlantic crossing Roma-Dakar-Rio de Janeiro and in 1939 experimental test meant to verify the feasibility of an airline passengers and mail line between Italy and South America for the civilian airlines (Ala Littoria S.A.- Linee Aeree Atlantiche, later called L.A.T.I./Linee Aeree Transcontinentali Italiane) over the routes of Southern Atlantic Ocean.
3 new different GMax models, covering 3 different versions of the civilian S.79 described above and featuring the standard animated parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and leading-edge slats. Ten (10) different liveries depicting all the S.79CS team which flew the 1937 Istres-Damascus-Paris Race, the 1938 Roma-Rio de Janeiro Expedition and the 1939 Transatlantic Test flight.
This is an adapted FSX version of the original FS9 plane (also available in another separated release).VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa & Italianwings. Installation instructions included. By Manuele Villa/MVG3D, April 2016.
