File Description:
FSX features for pilotable WWII US Navy PT-Boat. The boats are made by Jim Dhaenens and belongs to the FSX Solomon Islands 1943 AI Boat Traffic-scenery. A download of that scenery is required (solomonislands1943traffic18.zip). My features provide pilot able boats in 3 versions with VC panel. Several deck views and weapon effects like guns, depth charges and a time delayed torpedo explosion. Formation boats can be displayed from a cockpit view on port side or starboard side. This is a repaint of the Douglas DC-6B in Trinidad and Tobago Air Services - TTAS colors. The freeware CalClassic DC-6B by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. Trinidad and Tobago is an island nation of the southeastern West Indies, in the Caribbean. It consists of two main islands — Trinidad and Tobago — and several smaller islands. Caribbean United Airlines Ltd. was the main carrier operating a service from Trinidad, the main island, to Tobago, which is off to the North of Trinidad. However, Caribbean United Airlines - established in 1970, failed as an airline and stopped operations in 1974. The government of Trinidad and Tobago consequently formed TTAS at Port of Spain on June 12, 1974 to take over the Port of Spain to Tobago service suspended upon the failure of Caribbean United Airlines. With a pair of Douglas DC-6Bs, TTAS, became the second national carrier, and undertook air bridge flights to Tobago, as well as routes to Grenada, Martinique, and St. Lucia. The DC-6Bs were replaced between 1977 and 1978 by HS-748s. After a short lifespan of 6 years, TTAS was taken over and merged into the main Trinidad and Tobago national carrier - British West Indies Airways, in 1980. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. It should also work on FS2004.

These are a set of repainting templates for Carenado's excellent Cessna Caravan/Super Cargomaster package which can be purchased at the Carenado website (www.carenado.com). Since there are no layered templates for this aircraft, I took the liberty and made one myself using the original templates released by Carenado. This template is for experienced repainters only! *WARNING* This is NOT an official release by Carenado, just modifications to an already existing product. Includes templates for the FS2004 (1024 pixel) and FSX (2048 pixel) models, not sure if they will work with the X-Plane version.

If you have Carenado's fabulous C208B Grand Caravan and you love Hawaii, then you may wish to d/l Bill Womack's beautiful Mokulele Airlines repaint (I highly recommend ALL of Bill's work!). The only disappointment you'll have? Flight Simulator has no Mokulele ATC voice! Mokulele's callsign is "Speedbuggy", and I tried my best to make this sound legit. At least it sounds better than nothing, right? Download, install, load up your Mokulele Carenado Caravan and take some tourists and commuters for a ride in style!
