File Description:
Located 03 miles W of Pennington, New Jersey, Weidel/Private/ Airport is a private turf strip. No transient services are offered. Trees are summertime ONLY. A fence completely borders the runway and there are 30ft trees on one approach and 30ft power lines immediately before the runway threshold on the other end, offering some casually challenging approaches. You can pull off the runway to park near the barn if you must rest briefly before heading out again.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 001. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Trees are summertime ONLY. 30ft trees and some houses surround the runway to the south and the west, the eastern threshold is on the edge of a steep ravine leading down to the Delaware River.

File Description:
FSX F/A-18 Combat Version. This is the Acceleration F/A-18 Hornet equipped with 20mm M61 cannon and a fully functional air-to-air gun mode found in the real F/A-18. With the two radar modes, the two gun sights and the flying tracers, the virtual dogfight will be very similar to a real one. You will not be able to shoot down other aircraft, but you will receive an immediate indication on your HUD if a bullet hit the bandit. The flight model is unchanged from the Acceleration F/A-18 except for allowing manually controlled flaps and reducing the arresting wire tension for smoother carrier landings. The HUD is an upgrade of the Realistic F/A-18 HUD by Jivko Rusev and Scott Printz, which allows ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers. You will also get a couple of additional gauges - an In-Flight Refueling Gauge, PLAT Camera and a Carrier Landing Gauge. By Jivko Rusev.

If you find the red reminder messages about Brakes and Overspeed intrusive, this package contains a revised language.dll which will abbreviate these messages. This file modification will ONLY work with the ENGLISH version of Microsoft Flight Simulator FSX and was created in response to several requests.
